The staff is kind and speaks English well. The position in the city is also great, near a beautiful shrine and close to the Fukuoka station + shops/restaurants.The downside is the dormitory. We are all very close to each other thus, impossible to not be disturbed by noises early in the morning or late in the evening. As tourists are here to visit, some of them will wake up at 5 A.M. when others will arrive at 12 P.M., short window to sleep well. Also, beds could be cleaner as we found crumbs around them and spider webs in the bathroom. If you are a deep sleeper, if you want to wake up early and sleep late, or if you are not bothered by the above: this place is great in terms of position and staff/services!

This is the worst youth hostel I have ever stayed in Japan. The boys' dormitory is next to the social hall on the first floor, and there were still Koreans making noises until 02:00 AM. People walking on the second floor will also affect the first floor. My friends and I were constantly woken up all night, and we couldn't sleep all night even with earplugs. A large number of Koreans checked in that night. They turned on the lights, took a shower, dried their hair, kept opening and closing the door to get in and out of bed in the middle of the night, and even entered the room smelling of cigarette smoke. It's a nightmare. Due to the poor sound insulation, I don't recommend travelers to come here. The counter staff is also Korean and very friendly, which is the only thing worthy of praise.

Having a shower and sink inside the dormitory room is fatal.Everyone was in bed, but I didn't pay attention to it, and I came back late after taking a shower, and I was using the hair dryer in the room for a long time, and this time, from 5 o'clock in the morning, another guy was using the shower dryer for a long time... Cruel. too muchWell, I'm not in a situation where I can sleep. The air conditioner was turned off and I woke up in the middle of the night because of the heat. With no staff present, just tell the customers the rules! There is no intention to manage it, so everything is a lawless zone. The check-in staff was pretty tough, and when I was in the common area after that, I noticed that they were very friendly and politely explained various things to foreigners, which made me think that their response to them was quite different. He also explained that the lights in the shared space would be turned off one by one, so we should use this electricity, but out of the three people who were there, the lights suddenly turned off at 10pm without telling me anything.I can hear it because I understand English, but I'm really sorry. And then the staff disappears.Wi-Fi is so slow in the bed space that I can't use it. It's impossible to watch videos. One of the hooks for the hangers in the bed space I was assigned was missing, and I knew it was broken because it was taped on. Only one side is fixed, and it feels like I'm using it in this state.I have bedding sheets, but nothing for the comforter, and I don't think I can change the duvet cover every day.
