An unexpected surprise. We weren't expecting much since it was the last hotel available during Nebuta and it's more of a budget option. Rooms and facilities are dated, but still nice. The kids loved the deep bathtub in the room. Mom said dad enjoyed the onsen although it was a bit too hot. The dinner served in the room and the Japanese breakfast were both impressive. Service was excellent. After returning from the Nebuta Matsuri we found two big plates of onigiri and sliced fruits waiting for us. It was a nice touch after a long night out at the festival. We would definitely come again.

The hotel was certified as a welcome baby, so I brought my 1-year-old and 2-year-old children there. There is a children's space on the first floor, and the children seemed happy to play there until they got bored! If both dinner and breakfast are certified, I think the number of children who will be staying is known in advance, so it was disappointing that they would like to see more children's menus. The only thing I could eat was dessert and Bolognese.)On the day we stayed, about 6 children including us were eating at the same time.I was very satisfied with the adult menu because I was able to eat a lot of Aomori's local cuisine and scallop dishes ⭐︎

It will reopen in 2024. The lobby had a large space for children to play. The room and dining room were very clean. The view from the double room in the main building was spectacular. The walls of the toilet and bath in the room were tiled, giving it a Showa-era feel. Both dinner and breakfast were buffets, and although there were not many items, they were all delicious. During dinner, seasonal dishes were served separately as appetizers, so I felt the service was good. The staff was very polite and provided warm customer service, so I would like to stay there again.

Used at tournaments. I stayed alone in a 10 tatami Japanese-style room. The view from the hot spring public bath on the 6th floor was very nice. The water temperature is comfortable and not too hot. The food is not that luxurious, but it's good because you can choose what you like.

On the third night of our 6-day Tohoku drive, we departed from Lake Tazawa, passed through Lake Towada, and arrived at Aomori Asamushi Onsen Hotel Akitaya. The parking lot is located one building away from the hotel, and the staff will guide you.Check in at the cozy lobby with Neputa on display. The view from the twin bed room on the ocean side is right in front of Yunoshima. The bath is on the top floor with a view overlooking Mutsu Bay.The open-air bath can only be used by families with children.Dinner and breakfast are both buffet style at the restaurant ``Memama''.Dinner included six appetizers, including scallops, sea bream, and sweet shrimp, as well as delicious marinated tuna and tongue stew.

It can't be helped that the equipment is old. Were there alcohol vending machines on the public bath floor and soft drinks only in front of the front desk? The alcohol vending machine wasn't very cold. However, I think the staff's response is good.

It appears that the guest rooms and halls were significantly renovated around the spring of 2020 (the entrance was decorated with flowers to celebrate the completion), and the rooms are much different from the old photos, and the guest room facilities are up-to-date and clean. It was full of. The Nebuta display at the entrance has also been renewed. In addition to traditional local Aomori dishes such as rice cracker soup, they also served Italian-style dishes made with pasta, tomatoes, basil, and olive oil, so you could enjoy a variety of flavors. The observation bath on the top floor offers views of Mutsu Bay and Asamushi Onsen. On the day of our stay, it was a little smoky due to the yellow sand, so we were able to clearly see the setting sun shining into the sea with our naked eyes.

I stayed with my wife and we each had a single room. First of all, the view of Yunoshima from the window of the room was very beautiful and wonderful. Also, I was able to sleep soundly until morning on the Simmons bed, so much so that I actually considered purchasing one. The bathtub is spacious, and the view of Yunoshima from there is also great. I was very satisfied with the delicious food produced in Aomori Prefecture, and the staff and proprietress (?) were very helpful, and I felt energized. This is a recommended hotel.

The introduction says there is an open-air bath, but as of April 2024, there is no open-air bath. Rooms do not have air conditioning. The heating was turned off and it was cold, so I rented an electric stove. The rooms in the main building have small business desks by the windows, but they are of no use to hot spring guests. Not having a coffee table and chairs was inconvenient. There is no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom of the room. It was tiled and very cold. The breakfast buffet menu was similar to that of a business hotel, and I would have liked at least some hot spring eggs. By 8:30, the plate was empty, and I asked for more, but was told that they were out of stock.
