Arrived around 12:30.The parking lot was full, so I parked somewhere out of the way.Just as I got off the car, there was an old building with a huge beam at the entrance. It was rare so I took a photo. The main building is undergoing exterior renovation. The inside is beautiful as it has been renovated. There was no one at the front desk, but someone came by while I was there, so I paid 500 yen per person and went to the bathhouse across the street. There is no toilet in the changing room. It was just past the entrance to the bathhouse. There was no water dispenser or hair dryer. There are only three bathhouses, which are not large. There is no open-air bath or sauna. The bathtub is triangular and narrow.Black hot water unique to Higashi Naruko Onsen. There is a slight mall smell. It looks black, but it's actually brown and almost tasteless. The water temperature is probably a little over 43 degrees Celsius, so it's not that hot that you can soak in it at all.The water was nice.

Very popular with hot spring enthusiasts🎵It was after being covered in a lot of coal tar smell rather than oil smell in the stream below Arayu Jigoku.Do you think it's milder?I visited for a shampoo finish ✨Naruko is amazing~😍

It was a really nice place. On weekdays around 2:30 p.m., I walked here from Naruko Gotenyu... It was raining on the way, so I hurried there and found the outdoor bath was empty, so I asked for a day trip. A customer who wanted to use the public bath came about 5 minutes apart and waited until I left. If that had come first, I wouldn't have been able to get in.(It was almost time for the train)It seemed like a 30-minute charter, but I was able to get in and out quickly, and if I didn't have to worry about trains, I would have stayed in for just 30 minutes. I like the temperature to be high, so I was able to stay in without getting too hot. It smelled a little like petroleum, but it was my first time using black water, and I was really impressed by the cola color. Is it just a private house outside? The window was open, so I was scared that someone might peek at me (lol)When you enter, please turn over the sign and change it while you are bathing!

I visited for the first time in a long time on Saturday, February 24, 2024, and used it for a day trip. I used it both in the main building and in a shed outside on the premises. The hut bath can be reserved for 30 minutes and also serves as a community bath for the community. The outdoor bathtub is small and mixed bathing. If you only use the main building's indoor bath, it costs 500 yen, and if you only use the detached hut outside, it costs 300 yen. If you enter both, there will be a discount of 700 yen. There was shampoo and body soap in the main building, but there was no hair dryer, and there was nothing in the outside bath. The outdoor bath is very hot and there is no running water, so you can't take a very long bath, but it has a lot of carbonic acid and seems to be more effective than the main building.

Outdoor bath: 300 yen/person, 30 minutes, I visited on a weekday at noon.Extremely hot hot water flows freely. There is no running water, so it might be difficult for people who don't like hot water, but the cola-colored smell of the hot springs and the smell of the wood from the buildings are irresistible! The atmosphere is similar to the public baths at Shibu Onsen in Nagano. I was able to add water at Shibu Onsen, but this one was really hot. To put it simply, it's the best. There are no showers or baths, so this is for people who really like hot springs and can't stand it. Naruko's old-fashioned feel is nice, isn't it? I'd like to add that it's a private bath so it's not for couples or anything like that (lol)

It's conveniently located along the road and in front of the hot spring town.An old man with some physical disabilities was working alone at reception and cleaning. The water is slightly brownish and I can't stop sweating. Next time I would like to enjoy a private bath😃
