I couldn't find a hotel near Oita City Station, so I found this one and made a reservation. It looks like a former love hotel, with a large parking lot and comfortable rooms.I was able to stay cheaply during my birthday month.⚫︎The room is quite spacious.⚫︎The bath is a hot spring bath⚫︎2nd floor lounge, all you can drink alcohol is amazing⚫︎Rooftop open air is comfortable and the view is nice as it is on the 9th floor⚫︎Simple breakfast buffet included until the end of August⚫︎I love the magnifying mirror for makeup.⚫︎Bed can be reclinedI want it to be improved⚪︎The phone in the room is old and makes a lot of noise.⚪︎I want a towel rack in the bathroom⚪︎It would be nice if the pillow was nice and thick and a little thin.I'm satisfied. There is a guide to nearby restaurants, but I went elsewhere by car.The surrounding area is an industrial area, so there is likely to be traffic congestion. If you don't mind eating, you can bring your own food and enjoy some alcohol in the lounge. It's a hot spring, but why isn't there a panel explaining the quality of the spring? Well, I don't really care.

This hotel was great. I enjoyed it so much the first night, that I extended my stay for a second.Pros: The rooms are huge. Those who have travelled around Japan would know that most hotel rooms are the size of a shoebox, but this had more an apartment / western hotel feel. The room has a two seater couch, a 70” TV, two king single beds, a wet room featuring a hot tub (with jets), a dedicated toilet, automatically retracting black out blinds, adjustable beds, stand-alone AC, mood + automatic lighting, fridge, convection oven, and a well equipped bathroom (which included a Dyson hair dryer). I stayed in two rooms, and they were essentially identical. Located a short drive from a Family Mart and McDonalds. Free off-street parking. Quaint eating area for breakfast, although meals look like they are prepared offsite. There is a service balcony in the rooms you can access if you’re a smoker, but you wouldn’t spend time out there.Cons: Each room had dedicated wifi, but it dropped out intermittently and wasn’t exceptionally fast (19.8/7.6 mbps). I was able to cast Amazon to the TV, but none of my other services worked. Some of the TV’s had been named with the room number, but not all. Given each room has the same TV, and there are roughly two dozen rooms, this was an avoidable hassle on my second night (I stayed in two different rooms). The hotel is located in an industrial area (no noise, but no interesting views or local attractions). I would avoid using the wet room at night unless you don’t mind people seeing you (or you can see in the dark). The hotel has two elevators, but they are both quite small and people in a wheelchair would likely have problems.Overall, the best hotel I’ve stayed in within Japan so far (out of roughly two dozen). I’d definitely recommend staying here if visiting Oita. Only minor issues which hopefully management fixes.

Considering the size and cleanliness of the room, the abundance of amenities, and the hot spring water in the room, I think it's a good deal because it's not only cheap, but also includes all-you-can-drink alcohol and soft drinks in the lounge. However, there are no restaurants near the hotel, so it's inconvenient.

The hot spring water feels so good! The lounge on the second floor is the best! You'll want to go again and again.
