Although there are many foreign staff, I was impressed by the amazing hospitality. Especially the man at the front desk is the best hotel staff. After arriving at Yufuin Station, I took a walk around the hotel and even though it was past the scheduled arrival time, they called me and offered to arrange a taxi from the hotel if there were no taxis available, and they gave detailed explanations about the hotel. Eating in a private room was also relaxing. The food was delicious and had more variety than I expected. The ceramic-grilled wagyu beef was tender and of high quality. There were many free drinks available at the entrance in the evening. I didn't use it because I ate too much, but I thought it was good service. Breakfast is also served cooked in a pot. The garden leading up to the bath is also wonderful and soothing. Of course, the open-air bath had the best view, size, and temperature. Most of the guests are foreigners, but I would also recommend it to Japanese people.

Thank you for staying with us for one night. When we arrived, we were greeted and our luggage was carried to our room. The lobby and courtyard have a very atmospheric atmosphere. The room is separated into a living room and a bedroom, and is spacious, but it feels old. It is particularly inconvenient that there is no power outlet or light switch next to the bed. The free bar drink service from 19:30 is nice.Unfortunately, although the check-in was very hospitable, the check-out was very administrative and there was no one to see me off even though it wasn't crowded. I had high expectations because other inns are like this.

Very exquisite and authentic hot spring hotel♨️After reading the reviews, I was worried that there wouldn’t be a family bath on site, so I booked a room with a semi-open-air hot spring. The room is very large, with entrance hall, bedroom, living room and hot spring areaYou have your own hot spring area where you can freely adjust the temperatureThe public men's and women's baths also look good. They have beautiful scenery during the day and are very relaxing. For general room types, you can go to the public open air or queue up for the family bath (2 rooms)Because there are inevitably some bugs in the suburbs, but at least the room is clean and not damp! The specialty is the food here! The no-menu kaiseki dinner that everyone will definitely orderHaving your own private room is very privatePregnant women are informed in advance of the ingredients they need to pay attention to, and Meiyuan has special help in searing the raw food.I thought the portion was small, but I didn’t expect there were nine dishes for dinner! There is also Wagyu beef, which is really filling 😂The ingredients are all used well and handled with care and cleanly👍There is also a self-service bar after dinnerA variety of base wines for you to mix yourselfEveryone puts on the yukata provided in the room and goes to the lobby to have a drinkThe service staff are very polite and politeOverall, it was a good experience to stay here!I hope I have the chance to come back for a bath in the snowy winter!

A cockroach came out. . .It's really terrible, don't ever go there. It was the first time I had ever seen this size.It was a great vacation with something to celebrate, but I feel guilty for making the reservation! The hot springs are also not well maintained. I can tolerate that, but I can't tolerate cockroaches in the bed.I want to escape as soon as possibleIt was raining and there was a smell of sewer urine around the garden.I visited Yufuin twice, but I also started to dislike Yufuin because of Baien.Kaiseki is better if you eat it early, but the food comes out dry and twisted if you eat it later.

Be especially careful when using the women's public bathhouse after 10 a.m.There was no clock inside, so I looked at the clock outside in the changing area and saw that it was 10:03, and then I suddenly heard the sound of the door opening and a man's voice. I was so shocked and didn't even have my clothes on yet. The person said it was time out, and of course he didn't come inside, but the dressing area in the women's public bath is not completely covered and you can see part of it when you open the door.I couldn't keep track of the time, so I came out a little after operating hours, but shouldn't I have brought a woman from the desk to let me know that it was past operating hours? Especially if you go to a public bath for women alone, you may be really surprised and uncomfortable, so be sure to check the time.

It was an image of a renovated historical building. This hot spring in Yufuin boasts an impressive amount of hot water, and the open-air bath is large and spacious. However, since G came out, it is minus ★1 (>_<)

I visited in winter at the end of January. So, I guess it was fortunate that I didn't meet the bar teacher who welcomes people going in the summer. At Yufuin Station, I applied for delivery of 4 suitcases to Baien Resort through Chiki Service (charged), looked around the tourist attractions, ate golden croquettes and ramen snacks, and bought beer at a convenience store before walking in. Last 15 to 20 minutes to the convenience store? While walking, I could see the countryside and it was flat so it was worth walking. When you arrive, take a bath and then take a walk around the resort, the compound where you can see Yuhuak is quite spacious and beautiful. Is the room in the main building? Annex? It was a basic room with two beds on the first floor without a view and a separate room with a table and tatami mat.In the evening, two topper blankets were laid out on the tatami floor. There was no inconvenience as 4 female adults, and it was nice to chat and drink beer all night long. The large public bath is great for the price of lodging that includes breakfast and dinner, and the family bath is good enough for the price. However, there are only two family baths, so you may have to wait. I was happy because there was so much to enjoy, including unlimited alcohol in the evening~^^While checking out, I applied for the delivery of 4 suitcases to Yufuin Station using Cheeky Service (paid, the arrival time of the suitcases at the station varies depending on the time of application, so check).I ate my appetizer and walked leisurely while looking at Kinrinko Lake and other sightseeing spots.

disadvantage. The staff service is the worst. Those looking to experience the friendly service and culture of a Japanese ryokan should avoid this ryokan.First, I had dinner at a ryokan, but the level of service from the staff was below expectations. The food tasted good. However, the explanation of the food was insufficient and there were many problems with the process of preparing the course meal. Even though my family could speak Japanese so there was no problem with communication, it seemed like none of the Japanese employees were good at speaking Japanese. Most of the staff at this ryokan seemed to be foreigners who spoke mediocre Japanese. There was no explanation as to what kind of sauce was prepared or what type of food to dip it in, and the staff was busy putting food in and taking it out, so we had to move the food and clean up the table.Second, there were a lot of problems when checking out. When I checked out and left, I felt bad because I didn't even say goodbye, but the staff came out and grabbed my family and told me that we had to pay an additional 500 yen. We talked about paying the entire amount in advance through Booking.com, but the staff member didn't speak Japanese well, so we called around and ended up saying it was their mistake. Because of this, we were 20 minutes behind schedule.merit.The quality of hot spring water is managed very well. I stayed in a room with a private hot spring. The facilities and cleanliness were good, and the room was spacious and comfortable. And the large public bath is spacious and has a great view. There are two family baths, and they were larger and nicer than I expected.

The parking lot is large, so it's easy to park, and they even carry your suitcase. The kaiseki dinner served isn't all that delicious, but it's okay. There are staff who can speak Korean and they are so kind that they greet you first when you meet them. There is a bathhouse inside the room, and there are screens installed around it, and trees and grass are planted, so it has a nice feel and the water condition is good.I thought it was a good ryokan with many advantages, but there are disadvantages that outweigh the above advantages. In the evening, cockroaches emerge from the bathtub inside the guest room. They are about the size of two fingers and there are several of them running around....It doesn't jump at people, but after a while it dies and floats in the bathtub, and ants appear where it sleeps. If you don't like bugs, don't come here.+They said there is a suitcase moving service in the morning and to call the front desk if you want service, but the front desk does not answer the phone.
