I made a reservation late the night before. Considering train delays, the journey from northern Honshu would take over 4 hours! This is more than double the itinerary I saw on Google Maps the night before. It's completely unrealistic. I called the hotel several times in the morning. It doesn't come out. I wrote numerous emails to booking.com, but they refused to cancel my reservation or give me a refund, with no extenuating circumstances.This is the first time a hotel has refused to cancel. I do not recommend staying here.I Booked late the previous night. Factoring in a train delay, the trip from northern Honshu would have been more than 4 hours! This is more than double the itinerary I saw on google maps the night before. Totally impractical. I attempted to call the hotel multiple times in the morning. No answer. I emailed and wrote multiple messages on booking.com; they refused to cancel or refund the reservation due to extenuating circumstances.Never have I dealt with a hotel that’s refused a cancellation with advance notice due to extenuating circumstances. Based on this conduct, I do not recommend staying here.

4 people stayed in a dormitory. It's old-fashioned and has a nice atmosphere, but there's no soundproofing so you can't really sleep.The sound of people with no manners running the dryer at night, the sound of children running, and the sound of doors opening and closing more forcefully than necessary. .There is a single shoji door between it and the hallway. Since the room was next to the shower room, I could even hear the sound of the shower.Instead of thinking that it can't be helped because it's a hostel, they should post some kind of etiquette for staying there.The location is good, but it would be better to stay at a business hotel near the station.

I was looking for a place to stay while visiting my sister's house and found it on Agoda. I made a reservation for Golden Week just in time. The best thing was the cleanliness. I was asked to bring my own slippers (they are sold at the inn), but I didn't need them. The room was for two people and had two sets of futons.The room was not large, but it was enough for just sleeping. It's a shoji door, but it can be locked. There is a toilet and a shower room, and the shower room has a seat, and the shower pressure is really strong as other people have commented! I was able to flow it well. The town of Sawara is in the back, so you can walk to various stores. Are you going to the festival on May 4th and 5th? There were a lot of floats and the surrounding parking lots were crowded, but I didn't have to worry because I was able to park them in the parking lot of the inn. The kitchen car in front of the inn had a nice smile and the owner was a gentle person. We can communicate via email after making a reservation, so please feel free to ask if there is anything you don't understand. There are other rooms, so please take a look at the number of people. The walls are thin so you can hear the noise next door. Meals are not included, but there is a kitchen so you can prepare your own meals. There is also a microwave oven. After checking in, I went out to eat, took a shower, and went to bed. I took it to sleep, but it was enough. The price was about 10,000 yen for two people, so I think it was a good price as it is a price that is rarely seen during Golden Week.

This is a very clean and high quality accommodation. The owner's spirit was wonderful, and talking with him made me feel better.Many of the travelers were wonderful and I enjoyed talking to them.There are plenty of tourist facilities in the surrounding area, so I felt this place was worth more than just staying there.

The facilities in the room are great. The washroom, toilet, and bathroom are clean and stylish. I think the toilet is new. The shared kitchen was stocked with everything, and the reception room? The sofa in the space was stylish and relaxing, and I think there was also a fireplace. There was even a bar counter where you could order alcohol, and there was even a BBQ set available in the garden. There was a yellow kitchen truck parked there, but it will probably be on sale in the summer. I think you can have a lot of fun if you use it with a group of friends. The facility itself is large and has many rooms. Sightseeing includes visiting the old town along the Onogawa River, visiting long-established sake breweries, visiting Ino Tadataka's memorial museum and former home, and even eating French cuisine. The small townscape makes it easy to sightsee, so I think it's a good place to go on a leisurely one-night, two-day excursion. I wish there were more tourists and more inbound tourists from overseas. It felt like a waste to see such a beautiful cityscape so lonely.

I used it on a bullet trip.Although it is a guest house, you can spend a comfortable time with a nice atmosphere.I used a room for 4 people with two bunk beds, and the bed had good cushioning so I slept well!There was someone in the same room who was having a hard time snoring, so if you're worried about that, you might want to bring earplugs (lol)Parking is also nearby!thank you for helping me.

I was concerned because there wasn't much information, but I was very satisfied. The room was larger than I expected and very clean.The location is good. I recommend it if you stay in Sawara~~~Bicycle is 1000 yen.Because it is an electric bicycle, you can go far, so rent a bicycle and enjoy a leisurely trip to Sarwara.

Very well located near Sawara station, the atmosphere is very cozy and the facilities are modern but retain the style of the city. They have a living room, a common kitchen and the specialty is self-service ground coffee. They also rent bicycles to explore. Everyone is very friendly, I recommend it!

I wanted to take a walk in Sawara at night, so I took this opportunity to help. After checking in, I was able to go for a walk and enjoy the deserted night in Sawara.After reading the reviews, I brought earplugs to prevent noise while sleeping, but I was able to sleep without using them. The sound of slippers depends on the number of customers, but it didn't bother me late at night. Nearby trains were also quiet at 11pm.We had everything we needed for our stay, so much so that we couldn't find anything we didn't have. I wish I could stay for several nights and use the kitchen.The customer service attitude is perfect for me because I don't like to push the customer too hard. I would like to stay again in a different season.

I don't care about the room, the location, or the convenience of the surrounding area, but I just can't stand the unfriendly way a certain male staff member treated me.He looked as if he was against us moving in, and when we greeted him, he didn't respond at all and was silent. If you hate people and customer service, why not transfer?

The photos on the site are not fair, so I will post the actual photos.I used it because it was convenient for sightseeing, but I won't do it again. As I knew from the time I made the reservation, 6,000 yen per person in a one-bed dormitory is expensive. The bedding is horrible and the air conditioner doesn't work because the air vents are parallel to the bed curtains. This is not an inn where adults can stay.

There is a coffee bean service where you can grind your own coffee beans and drink them in the morning.There is also a communal TV, refrigerator, and kitchen.I think it's fine if you just sleep without meals. Water pressure in the shower was good.

Great Japanese style experience 👍,The floor is tatami and the room has paper sliding doors.The double room has an independent bathroom, and all the hardware equipment is very new, which was beyond my expectation. Highly recommended for travelers who want to experience a traditional Japanese inn but are worried about poor facilities!You can rent electric bicycles for 1,000 yen per day. They are super easy to ride and don’t require much pedaling at all. It rained quite a bit on the day of rental, but the boss still rented his car to us for riding, and we just had to help dry it after returning it.When I left the hostel and went to catch the tram, it was only thanks to the enthusiastic assistance of the boss that I managed to catch the tram. I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart🥹. I will definitely want to come back or recommend it to other relatives and friends if I have the opportunity in the future.

I used it for my daughter's golf tournament.The location is in a very old-fashioned townscape, so it's great for walking and exploring.There are two long-established sake breweries and an old-fashioned public bath within a few minutes' walk, and there are no problems with restaurants, which was great. The hotel was clean and well-equipped, and all kitchen supplies were provided, so I was able to spend my time there without any inconvenience. The host was also a quiet but kind person.There were also several toilets within the facility. There was also a dryer and washing machine, which was a great help even though we got soaked in the rain during the match. I was glad that I was able to play the second and third day in good condition the next morning. However, since it was separated from the hallway by a single sliding door, I was concerned about the sounds of walking in the hallway. Will changing the slippers reduce the noise somewhat? I thought so. Overall I'm very satisfied.We will also use it next year when there is a game nearby. thank you very much.

From Narita Airport, go to Narita Station, exit Sawara Station, which is the 5th transfer station, and turn left. I walked towards the Sunroute Hotel next to the station, but there was no road along the JR tracks on Google Maps. When I took the next road to the left, I saw the NTT Tower 🗼 and was relieved because the comment said it was located inside the NTT building. There is an izakaya nearby that is open until midnight (Ramen ¥600 and Chijimi ¥500), but it's a good idea to buy rice balls and bread for breakfast at the Seven store in front of the station. Coffee☕️Black tea and Japanese tea are available, and the cafe also offers sweet potato ole and chai for 500 yen. There's also a bar, but it's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.The shared space is stylish and comfortable. The owner is also an interesting person who loves Latin America and loves traveling.

I used a private Japanese-style room with a friend.Hostel right next to Onogawa Kaiun BridgeI spoke with the shop owner, and he was friendly and told me about some recommended shops.The room was just the right size for two people to sleep, and since it was a long time since I met up with a friend, we had a great time talking.Since this is a stay-only inn, it is best to check the amenities and facilities on the website.There are no TVs, including in the common spaces, but there is Wi-Fi, so it's not a problem.The shared space also includes a kitchen, so it is likely that guests will be able to communicate with each other.
