We received very courteous customer service.I was able to use a large room of 17 tatami mats by myself, and perhaps because I was the only woman, I was able to reserve the same floor for myself, so I was able to relax.The bath is located a little down from the first floor and is reserved for each guest group (it's a family bath).The hot springs are slightly lukewarm, flowing directly from the source, and are very pleasant!I have to buy my own meals, but there is a large supermarket, a shopping street, and a very famous bakery nearby, so it's not inconvenient.One point is that it is close to a red-light district, so it might be a good idea for women to be aware of this before going out at night. (This is the reason for 4 stars)I would like to use it again next time I go to Beppu!

A warm hot spring inn in the station area. Although it is conveniently located near the downtown area, it is a quiet and relaxing environment at night.The inn has been renovated with modern facilities while retaining its good old charm.The whole room was clean, the room was spacious, and the futon was super comfortable, so I had a good night's sleep.The proprietress' polite customer service is wonderful, and listening to her stories about Beppu is even more fun.If you want to relax while feeling the history of Beppu, this is the inn for sure.

Although it is an old building, it is kept clean and feels nice.The wife's care and consideration made us feel very comfortable.

This is my second time staying here. It was a different room than last time, but it was also a good room where you could feel the good old days😊 I was able to relax in the hot springs, take a good rest on the carefully selected bedding, and enjoy the best little trip this time as well. 😀 Thank you very much. 🙇

Visited on February 2020.The building itself seems to be very old, but it was kept well-maintained and the plumbing and electrical appliances were new, so it didn't bother me at all. Since it was a weekday in February, I had a large room of about 12 tatami mats all to myself. The futon was also nice.The hostess was also friendly and gave us water and sweets, as well as detailed information on nearby sightseeing. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but the good thing about it is that it's close to a public hot springs area. There are two baths at the inn, so we didn't have to wait. It was a very satisfying stay and the price was reasonable.
