2023. First visit in late NovemberI stayed for 1 night and 2 days with breakfast included. The scale is small, so it's cozy overall. The large public bath is also compact. However, it was a nice inn that was well managed.I only had breakfast, but it was delicious.I took this photo in the bathroom because no one was there.

I had the pleasure of staying at Oiwakeya Hotel, a beautiful ryokan that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in a sense of tranquility and tradition. The on-site onsen (hot spring) was the perfect way to unwind and relax. The rooms, laid with traditional tatami mats, were spotlessly clean and surprisingly spacious. But what truly made my stay special was the incredible food. The dinner and breakfast included with my stay were nothing short of amazing - fresh, local ingredients crafted into delicious, authentic Japanese dishes.

I stayed one night at the detached house Yuraku-tei, which was a very good inn and I felt completely refreshed.Yuraku-tei was too spacious for two people, but we felt very safe. The inside of the hotel was clean and tidy, making us feel comfortable. The hot springs leave your skin smooth and smooth, and the amenities are of good quality, so I'm very satisfied. The customer service from the staff was also very nice. Quick movement response during meals is really BerrygooIf I ever come to Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, I would definitely like to come back again.

[Guest room]Stay in the most affordable roomThe 8 tatami Japanese-style rooms are beautifully cleaned.Other rooms include standard Japanese-style rooms, 10-tatami rooms, special rooms, and detached rooms.[service]All the staff I metEveryone was completely satisfied with their response and had wonderful smiles. The best thing about this inn is the staff service.Anyway, I personally had a comfortable stay![place]Although it is called Utsukushigahara Onsenkyo...Since it is mostly a residential area, there is no place to walk around the neighborhood.Surprisingly, it is located along a road with a lot of traffic, so it is almost impossible to go out.[hot spring]There are two bathhouses (7 types in total), and the male and female bathing areas change depending on the time. There is also a private bath available by reservation (separate fee of 2,500 yen/45 minutes).I used it with my family and was able to enjoy the hot springs slowly.Spring quality...I didn't look carefully 💦

Our family had a wonderful stay at this ryokan. The rooms were beautiful, the meals were memorable, and the service was impeccable and kind. Take a few moments to research etiquette, particularly about how to use onsen, and you'll have a wonderful stay. You can easily reach it via the metropolitan bus. From the train station, follow the signs to the Matsumoto bus terminal. Take the Utsukushigahara Onsen line to the Tsujido stop. Google maps will tell you to get off at Araibashi stop, but stay on the bus as it loops around to avoid an unnecessary walk down a narrow road. Tsujido is right across from the hotel.A bit more about the bus: You get on at the rear door. From the machine on your right as you board, take a ticket, which indicates where you got on. There's a screen in the front that tells you what you owe if you get off at the next stop. Drop that in the slot as you get off at the front door. Between 300 and 400 yen as of this writing. The drivers are kind and helpful, so don't panic! Soon you'll be relaxing in the onsen, enjoying a truly Japanese experience.

A small but great inn. Meals are served in a private room, with beautiful bowls and presentation, and the seasoning is gentle and easy to eat. I was impressed by the hospitality of the staff. The bath was small, but the silky bath was particularly pleasant.

I stayed with my relatives on the day I went sightseeing in Kamikochi. I've been here several times during the day for dinner parties, but this is my first time staying overnight. The menu is designed so that you can taste a variety of ingredients little by little, so you'll be quite full. The best part is the smiling faces of the staff. Everyone is kind to me and I feel very comfortable while I'm here. What I like most is that there is a nice terrace in a small space where you can sit and drink coffee. It was available before I checked out in the morning, so I received it. Thank you.
