Come for the beautiful in room private onsen and nothing else. Do not expect any type of service from the owner (grumpy old man). Also, do not arrive after 6pm as that's when check-in ends.

The service at check-in was the worst. It's probably cheaper to stay at an inn with a room with an open-air bath, but I won't stay there again.

The rooms are spacious and nice and the private hot spring bath is really nice. Counter service is just acceptable and you have to pay extra for bathing. The location is good if you have a car, but public transportation is difficult.

I used it for the first time. I thought it would be inconvenient for families with children. The surrounding noise was quiet and the hot springs were nice. Might be tough for people who are concerned about smells and insects...

I stayed for one night without meals on Saturday and Sunday. Each room had a large bath where you could relax.I made a reservation a few days in advance and used a 3,000 yen discount coupon, so the cost was about 28,600 yen.I think it's best to go by car.

It was very nice to have a hot spring in each room in a tatami room. Other private hot springs have time restrictions, but this one has a bathroom and hot spring attached to the room, so I didn't mind the time and used it often. The location may be nice because it's quiet at the top of the mountain, but it's on the road itself. It's not attached. There's only one bus per hour, so it's inconvenient. They say they stopped serving kaiseki after the coronavirus. If you want to come back after dinner, the only option is to take a taxi or rent a bus. The last bus is at 6 o'clock, so if you take it on the way down, you will definitely have to take a taxi when you come up. The taxi price is about 2,000 yen, so I give it a 3 star rating for the location haha.

The room was so spacious and nice, the bedding was great, and the hot spring was really great. I booked a total of 3 rooms with my parents, and it was really nice that each room had a private hot spring. It was the best, but the location was very vague. There wasn't anything nearby.

I liked the convenient parking, private rooms, and hot springs. However, rather than saying that this ryokan has its own unique personality, it feels too ordinary, so I am a little reluctant to visit again... haha.
