Room temperature approaching 30 degrees. AC not effective (even 1 degree) across any room in the hotel. Problem raised and not resolved. False advertising of having AC. And no, a fan or 3cm window opening does not fix it either. 1 star due to not meeting requirements of habitation by Homo sapiens. Checking out as soon as possible and moving hotel.Edit: found out that it’s switched off because it’s not in season. Except it was hot outside several days in a row and 30 degrees inside the rooms. You’d think if you possess a brain, you would base it on the outside temperature. When I checked out with a day to spare, no one at front desk even asked why. Went to the Chisun Grand Nagano, perfect air con.Several other customers propping open their doors with shoes etc. It’s just ignorance at that point. The hotel should also remove “air con” from its listed facilities on booking sites when they nonsensically turn it off so anyone with sense can avoid the hotel. It remains a scam.

The food is absolutely delicious. This is my second or third time staying here, and each time I am impressed by the deliciousness of the food.A series of impressions this time too! Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious.Especially since breakfast is not a buffet, you don't have to eat too much. And that's why the quality is high.Of course, dinner was also delicious. What left an impression on me was the vinegared food. The seasoning was good, and it felt like it was soaked in my body. The dessert was also refreshing and sweet. Also, the room was nice.I chose the junior suit, and the drinks and service were great, as was the quality and size of the room. The bath in the room was also relaxing, probably because there was no large public bath.If you live in Tokyo, it would cost around 70,000 yen per night. So, when I go to Nagano again, Saihokukan is my only choice.Reporter A.T.

The hotel gives the impression that it must have been luxurious in the past. The rooms are old, but they have a luxurious feel with customer service and a lobby with high ceilings.

Although the building is old, it was well maintained and felt like a long-established, fine hotel. The staff also have that kind of atmosphere, and I think it's perfect when you're asking elderly people to stop by. It's close to the Gondo shopping street, so it's convenient for eating and drinking, and if you don't mind being in front of Nagano Station, parking is free, so it's a hotel I'd use again.

I visited Zenkoji Temple three times in the evening, morning, and until I checked out.
