There are many young foreign staff members, and I get the impression that they are all working hard. I feel that the entire region is putting effort into starry sky and sea of clouds activities. However, as for staying at the facility, unfortunately I didn't think it was worth the price. *The cost was about 35,000 yen per person, including 1 night and 2 days, dinner, breakfast, and a ticket to the sea of clouds.▶︎Check-in/outI went inside right after getting off the shuttle bus, but for some reason I was asked to wait over there. I was given priority to check in another person and had to wait. Do you have any reservations...?There was no particular farewell when I went out.▶︎About the roomThe reservation site said it would be ``one floor down,'' but there were no basement rooms, so we went up one level. Are the walls thin or the doors thin? The noise in the hallway was very loud. The unit bath attached to the room feels like an old-fashioned business hotel. There was a statement that said, ``The view from the window is beautiful in all seasons,'' but that is a lie. When you open the curtains, you'll see a private house in front of you. You won't be able to enjoy the mountain scenery typical of Nagano. The shoji has flashy Japanese patterns and is tailored for inbound tourists. The bed and room itself are clean. There is no water or amenities provided in the room.▶︎About dinnerThis was the worst.First of all, regarding the menu for the famous sea of clouds, before I could even take out my cell phone and say, ``I'll take a photo,'' it was opened sloppily and said, ``It's a sea of clouds.'' teeth? The meal progresses in courses, but the food is served one after the other without paying attention to your own pace.Only 20 minutes into the meal, the main meat, steak, was brought to us even though there were still two large plates left. As expected, I can't do anything about it for the time being. Is there an intention to feed them crispy-cold meat?I wanted it to be still warm, so I asked if it could be re-served, but she said something like, ``Hmm...'' and took it home with a blank stare.picture? The official website also says that you can enjoy freshly prepared food in a semi-private room, since the food will get cold if you serve it in your room, so I was hoping for that kind of thoughtfulness, but...I don't know. After that, he didn't come to check on me, and when the table was empty, I ended up calling the staff and asking them to bring me the next one...In addition, right after the meat was served for the first time, I had a complaining contest with the staff members who were bashing the other seats, saying, ``No. 10 (my table) is whispering.'' Um, I can hear everything. I feel sick. This is because, although the dining hall is a semi-private room, you can hear voices from other seats. By the way, it seems that the meat had not yet been served to the people who were seated before me. Really, why? What is it?Drinks are all-inclusive and you can drink as much as you want during your meal. However, even if I ask for a drink, it never comes. When I told the staff member who came to inform me about the starry sky activity, ``I don't have any white wine,'' she brought it right away, but a long time later, I realized that she had probably left my drink unattended. A staff member came over with a white wine in hand, looked at the new white wine already on the table, and wondered, "Is that it?" I said, confused, and just stood next to the table. I don't know anymore...please share. On the way home, I was given something wrapped in furoshiki and told to ``please have dinner in your room.'' When I asked, ``What's inside?'', she replied, ``Uh, I don't know.''I guess it's kind of disgusting. He's a genius who irritates you from beginning to end, right? The progress was so poor that I thought so.I felt that the problem was not with the serving staff, but with the organization that allowed them to serve customers at that level in the first place. Please give all those kids a course meal at a hotel in the same price range. Please let me learn. Because it was really bad.▶︎BreakfastBreakfast was not a course meal, but a set of dishes, so it was very enjoyable!▶︎Hot springOpen-air bath at Hirugami Onsen. The only great things about it were the breakfast and the hot springs. The noisy room, the poorly serviced dinner, and the cancellation of activities due to bad weather cannot be canceled out...but this hot spring saved my life.I think the private bath is good for families. When it comes to hot springs, I think a cypress bath is more elegant, but it has an urban feel. At worst, it's a bit like a love hotel. Anyway, it feels like a hotel, and the feeling of a hot spring is reduced by half. The amenities were Sekkisei.I liked the large public bath because it had hair care products, body care products, and a water server. The open-air bath in particular is a little lukewarm and makes you want to soak in it for a long time. I was warmed by the thick spring water.▶︎All-inclusive drink serviceThe official website states, ``*Free drinks available from 14:00 to 11:00; coffee, latte, espresso, black tea, herbal tea, craft beer, wine, lassi, seasonal drinks, etc.'', but this is also a lie. . Or rather, it's packed. The only alcohol served during the afternoon tea time from check-in to dinner is craft beer. No wine or lassi. For drinks such as coffee, there is a button-pressing machine that is often found in drink bars.▶︎ Speaking of which, about reservationsI have been contacted three times for confirmation. What I said the first time was not shared, so I asked the same question the second time. I received a third call saying that there had been a missed call, but it wasn't a missed call or anything, it was the same thing I had already heard. . .Overall, I think the level of staff is simply low. It's not that I feel bad or that I'm a bad person. They probably have the will to do their best, but they haven't reached the appropriate standards.I'd like to visit Achi Village again because I missed the starry sky activity, but if it stays at that level, I wonder if I'll stay at another inn... At most I can afford 20,000 yen. Tickets for the sea of clouds are not included. It's not "evil", but it's definitely not good. The official website has quite a lot of information, so if you are planning to stay, please be careful not to have expectations that are commensurate with the price!

We had a wonderful time. Customer service is also kind and polite. We were also able to borrow jackets and sheets so that we could borrow a bicycle and take a walk, have drinks and eat dango in the lounge, and look at the stars. Anyway, the service was excellent and it was fun. The hot springs are clear and slightly slippery.

This all-inclusive inn is perfect for alcohol lovers. Soft drinks and coffee are also available. The whole thing feels like an old facility that has been modified. The young people are working hard and I have a good impression of them.

Beautiful, traditional ryokan far away from the tourist crowds of the cities. Despite the language barrier, the staff was always friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms and hot springs were exactly what you would expect from a ryokan in rural Japan. The food could be challenging for Western sensibilities, but is generally of high quality. The star tour, which is included in the price, was also a great and unique experience.

Thank you Kofu for a wonderful trip! The hotel is located in Achigawa with Hirugami Hot Spring and beautiful starry sky. We were lucky to choose Kofu.Since I was a bit unfamiliar with Achigawa transportation, I inquired a lot of things via email with Kofu before departure, and they all responded quickly and helped solve the problem. The service and reception of the waiters were all very good, especially the foreign waiter who received us. He was very friendly, spoke fluent English, and made careful arrangements. We spent 2 days very comfortably and satisfactorily. The hotel is beautiful, the furnishings and layout are very Athenian. We love such beautifully preserved historical hotels. The room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. The hotel has indoor and outdoor hot springs, as well as free private baths. There were 6 of us in our group and we booked 3 rooms in total, one hotel and two meals. The dinner was a very special kaiseki meal, and the ice mist sashimi box was also very attractive. After the meal, we were given 2 pieces of sushi 🍣 boxes for late night snacks, which was a very heartwarming arrangement. The hotel also provides an exclusive free pick-up service for night sky tours, and professional photographers are also available to take photos. The shooting was very flattering and I loved it. Along the way, the history of the Achi River and the origin of the scenic spots are introduced.All-you-can-eat coffee drinks are available all day, and whiskey is available during certain hours. For transportation, you can purchase bus tickets to Komaba Station at the Nagoya Bus Center, and you can make an appointment to be picked up from Komaba Station and dropped off at your hotel.Highly recommended, stay at KoFu

📍Otogi-tei MitsukazeVisit a long-established hot spring inn in Achi Village in search of the best starry sky in Japan![Nearest station]The best option is to come by car or bike.Achi Village in Nagano Prefecture is famous for having the best view of the starry sky in Japan.Today, I went to Otogitei Mitsukaze, a long-established inn that also includes a tour to view the best starry sky, as well as staying overnight there!Hirugami Onsen in Coco Achi Village is a hot spring known for its smooth texture, and is also known as the ``Beauty Bath.'' After checking in, we enjoyed the hot spring, and then enjoyed a fine dinner.Meal starts at 18:00.After that, we departed for the starry sky tour at 19:30, so the time for meals was a little tight, but the food was served at a good pace, so I didn't feel like we were in a rush to eat.In addition to the basic course, you can also order a la carte items if you make a reservation in advance. All you can drink as well. What's more, guests can enjoy unlimited alcohol and soft drinks in the inn's lounge, which is a great service for guests. The cuisine is inspired by a fairyland, and the dishes are made with ingredients from Shinshu and are pleasing to the eye, giving you a sense of the four seasons as well as the taste. In particular, the famous "Unkai Tamatebako" is filled with dry ice smoke when you open the lid, and fresh seafood and mountain products appear from within the smoke ♪Another dish that was particularly impressive was the "Japanese Wagyu Steak," which I had asked for an additional order. The beef was grilled by yourself, and the quality of the meat was very good and there was a lot of marbling, so as soon as you put it in your mouth, it melted in your mouth and was very satisfying! There were a lot of Japanese staff members from other countries, except at the front desk, so I felt it was a little difficult to communicate with them, but I don't think I was particularly stressed by the lackluster service.Unfortunately, the weather today is rainy...It's a shame that the starry sky tour itself has been cancelled. However, I would like to try again to enjoy the starry sky and food![Today's order] *All prices include tax~The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter~ Kaguya Gozen◉Unryu sesame tofu, miso sauce◉Simmered ginger, grated radish◉Fried local eggplant◉Yosenabe made with Kinoko from Shinshu and Mochi Kinchaku◉Nanjing, sweet potato, and bean saladServed with boiled tuna and marinated vegetables◉ ~Specialty “Tamateji”~ Salmon, Kanpachi, shrimp, scallop, octopus◉Grilled Beef Cainomi, Steamed Vegetables, Special Shinshu Miso Sauce◉Steamed cutlassfish, local vegetables, consommé soup◉Rice, miso soup, pickles◉Horse sashimi (additional) ¥1,650-◉Domestic Wagyu Steak (additional) ¥3,850-◉Beni-imo pudding◉Asahi Super Dry Extra Cold◉Ichigo KikusuiThank you for the meal!Phaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
