Continuing from last year, I went to Nozawa Onsen. It was October 14th, and it was quite a hot day. It was a difficult day to walk at Nozawa Onsen as there are many slopes. It was great that both breakfast and dinner used a variety of products from Shinshu. Shinshu beef, Nozawana, grapes, apples, and milk were all delicious.

The view from the open-air bath, which was on a hill, and the view from the room was amazing. The natural spring water, which is said to be one of the world's most famous hot springs, was at a suitable temperature and easy to soak in, allowing us to soak in it slowly while enjoying the spectacular view. The food was very delicious and we had a great time in the restaurant with a great atmosphere. As expected from the Grand Hotel, the staff were very responsive.

Visit in late March 2024This is a relatively large inn within Nozawa Onsen. It's far from the ski resort, so I think that's the biggest bottleneck.Araya restaurant is nearbyThere are two hot springs: a large bath and an open-air bath.Contains two types of springs from Nozawa Onsen. The open-air bath is not recommended as the water is quite lukewarm.Let the water coolThe public bath and open-air bath are located in separate locations, so there is not a good flow of traffic. But the public bath is the! The hot water was good, similar to Nozawa Onsen. The room looks a little old, but I don't mind it at all.The friendliness of the front desk staff was also very good.

Since it is located on a hill, you can enjoy the view overlooking the city from the open-air bath. You can enjoy two different hot springs in the open-air bath and the indoor bath, and the food is also very delicious.

My wife and I stayed for 2 people for about 47,000 yen.The rooms are neat and clean and not bad. The open-air bath in the guest room was smaller than I expected, but...However, the food was not good. The food is of a level that cannot be said to be commensurate with the cost of accommodation.I'm sorry to say this, but it gave me the impression of a hotel in a tourist destination in the countryside, with no effort put into it.The plan included Shinshu salmon or beef sushi, but the sushi was like small rice balls made by amateurs. I also grabbed the rice too much. The rockfish looked like it had been grilled and kept warm for several hours, not freshly grilled at all.Above all, the white rice comes out when everything is eaten. How can you tell someone to eat just white rice and miso soup? The staff at the front desk and serving people were nice, but I felt like the food was a big drag.

This is a 5-minute uphill walk from Chuo Terminal and Ski Shuttle Service. But I’m rating the location with 5 stars because, as far as I know, this is the only place with the view of the mountains and the village from their hot spring. Irreplaceable! The staff were also kind and helpful. And some of them go out of their way to understand and help us despite the language barrier. Definitely recommend this place! You can ask the staff to book you a taxi on your departure.
