Had a great 4 nights at Chateau Lausanne. Perfect for skiing and lovely owners. Can definitely recommend this bed & breakfast.1. The location is really good (you will be close to the first busstations in the morning to be picked up).2. Baked breakfast will be made by the owners on the spot as you come down. So straight out the frying pan. Warm and tasty.3. Little common area to relax and chat with others at the end of the day4. Decent sized rooms. All very clean and a good bed to sleep in.5. Rob and Yoshi are really kind and will assist with all kinds of things.

We had a lovely experience at the Chateau Lausanne, owned and operated by the sweetest husband and wife. Our stay was everything we wanted — a cozy room with a private bathroom, free breakfast, and great hospitality. It’s an 8 minute walk to the heart of Echoland and a short drive to the mountains. There is a dry room to store all your ski essentials, a small lounge with games and tea and a few parking spots. We look forward to coming back. Thank you for everything, Rob and Yoshi.

Breakfast starts at 0730, so I won't be able to make it in time for the Happo-one lift. But it was nice to have all-you-can-eat bread.

The property's only a 3 min walk from the closest bus stop (Goryu Hondinirichi) for the snow shuttles, or a 5 min walk to the next closest (Hotel Oak Forest) which operates a few extra shuttles. …

Run by a great family. Rooms are good size. Bath looks small but you can fit two small people in it 😁. Breakfasts are western (a Japanese option would be nice but as were the first to have asked then maybe not worth it, ask the night before and you may get lucky :) ). Beds were a little springy and uncomfortable but still got sleep. Seemed to be an older crowd staying here and it was quiet of an evening. No laundry on site so have to take laundry into ecoland which is a bit of a pain. About a 10min walk into Ecoland. We would stay again.
