It was my first time staying at this inn. I was impressed by the thatched roof of the gate of the inn. All the meals were delicious, from light dishes that valued the flavor of the ingredients to handmade soba noodles. In particular, the soba noodles had a strong aroma of wheat and buckwheat flour, and even though they were cut into thin strips, they had a firm texture, and the soba soup at the end of the meal was eaten as is without diluting it with the soup. The next morning, I participated in the ritual and had a relaxing time listening to the priest's exorcism and stories of gratitude.Next time, I would like to receive your feedback during the winter skiing season.

This is my third time staying at this favorite hotel. Since it's a lodging lodge, the service and rooms are average, but I have no complaints and I think the exterior and hallways are quaint. The bath is not a hot spring, but a large stainless steel bathtub (about 4 times the size of a normal bathtub?), but the hot water uses black silica (mineral mineral), which warms the body and makes you feel like you won't get hot. is.Other reviews say it is vegetarian cuisine, but it is not Buddhist cuisine as it also has meat and fish. The seasoning is gentle, but it's not lacking, and everything is really delicious. I think it's only available in fall and winter, but soy milk hotpot is my favorite. The soba noodles at the end can be refilled, the noodles are thin but chewy, and during the rainy season, the soup is sweet with a hint of bonito stock, which is also a favorite. For dinner, you can eat as much as you want if you're hungry, so I think it's good for people who don't like having a lot of food.Oh, and the miso soup for breakfast is exquisite.

After visiting Togakushi Shrine Chusha, I went to get some Togakushi soba. I visited for the first time because the store I usually visit was closed. The parking lot was small. The grounds behind the restaurant seem to be the grounds for the lodging. I waited for about 30 minutes. The soba and tempura were very delicious.

I visited there with some close friends from the local area for soba noodles and Togakushi Shrine. The inn has been designated as a registered tangible cultural property of the country for 218 years since it was rebuilt. The interior has been renovated to make it more comfortable to spend time in, but the thatched roof is said to be over 1 meter thick. The hotel is covered with nearly a meter of snow, icicles hang from the thatched roof, and although the morning and evening temperatures are below zero, it doesn't feel that cold inside the inn.Dinner after taking a bath was delicious, and the soba noodles to finish the meal were thin, slippery, and very delicious, and I could easily eat five bundles of them.Early in the morning, we took a walk around the nearby Togakushi Shrine, performed a purification ceremony, and then had breakfast.I plan to walk around the area until noon and then return to the hotel to retrieve my luggage. Also, since I was staying with close friends for the first time in a while, I ended up making a lot of noise in the common room until around 10pm, which may have caused an inconvenience to the hostel and other guests. I'm sorry.

I used it for the first time in November 2020, and I would like to thank you for your continued support this November 2021.Both times I stayed in a large room on the second floor, about 12 tatami mats in size.Although you cannot see the view from the room, the room is very airtight and very warm with triple-paned windows.(Heating equipment is gas fan heater)There is no toilet or sink in the room. There are no outlets in the shared washrooms, so we recommend that women bring a mirror to use when getting ready.A stainless steel bathtub the size of a bathtub you've never seen before, with hot water made from maifan stone and black silica. It really warms your body. The washing area has enough space for three people, and there is a system that provides hot water for a while when you press the button, but the shower gets cold and is a little unstable. The meals are kaiseki with plenty of dashi stock, nothing particularly fancy, but all delicious. (Breakfast miso soup is exquisite)In particular, soba noodles are a little thicker and have a smooth texture that goes down easily. The soup has a strong flavor with a strong dashi soup. The soy sauce is sweet and easy to eat, making it very delicious. There are several lodgings and inns in Togakushi, but this is my favorite inn that I visit every year.

Close to Chusha, an excellent location for sightseeing. A charming building designated as a cultural property and warm customer service. Spacious room. The capacity is approximately 70 people. Depending on the room, the noise may be a problem. The room I stayed in was a corner room on the second floor, so the noise didn't bother me.There is no bath or washroom in the room, and the toilets and washrooms on the second floor are one for men, one with a washlet for men and women, and one for women. There are two wash basins. It seems small, but I didn't overlap with other people so it didn't bother me.The bath is also a small bathtub, and although it is difficult for three people to take a bath, it is limited to three people to prevent the spread of coronavirus. However, I was able to get in without having to wait. It's not a natural hot spring, nor is it a large public bath, so it's not a place you go to for a bath.So what are we looking for?First of all, it's dinner. If you think that Shukubo means vegetarian cuisine, you are wrong. While it's certainly healthy, it's also hearty, with lots of local ingredients. You can also drink beer, sake, and wine. And most of all, soba noodles. The adjacent store is a popular store that is very busy during the day. You can get a second helping of the soba noodles. The next morning, a small morning event started before 7:30. Participation is free. That's why breakfast starts as late as 8am. After another healthy and delicious meal, we checked out. One night and two meals filled my stomach and soul.

Enjoy delicious food in a relaxing atmosphere with jazz music. The soba noodles are delicious and you can get second helpings, but please be careful not to get full by then, as the soba noodles will be your last. You can also participate in the morning shift. However, there are no convenience stores nearby. Also, as the stairs are steep, we recommend that those with walking disabilities reserve a room on the first floor.

I found a soba restaurant next to the middle shrine of Togakushi Shrine attached to a lodging lodging that was designated as a designated cultural property. The store is spacious, with tatami rooms and tables. …
