I came to the Takamine area for the first time in a while, and while I'm sorry to say that I was referring to Chidori Hotel, which I had previously visited, I can honestly say, ``The counter service is welcoming with a smile like in Tokyo (the infection rate during the coronavirus pandemic is extremely small and there is no infection), and the detailed staff. Consideration (all reservations are confirmed in advance), meals that soothe the tired body of daily life (2 people with friends in a quiet place, staying overnight in Tokyo without meals (separate breakfast for 2 days each) will cost 4,500 yen per night. (Meal courses, etc. are communicated over the phone), and the former Chidori Hotel was located on Tonai Dori. In addition, some of the rooms did not have amenities such as shaving equipment, and all rooms did not have individual baths. There was also content about the ski season. Transfers were arranged through contact. I understand that there are probably few customers during the ski season. Those around us were surprised at the chaotic situation, and heard that most of our interactions with customers were through email rather than phone calls. Therefore, considering the total content (including the accommodation price), service, etc., we have rated it at less than 30%. Even if the price is high during the quiet season, please understand the intention of lowering the price in rural depopulated areas, long distances, etc., and the intention of serving the customer and returning home happily, and the feelings of writing about regrets. We hope that we will communicate with each other to some extent and provide detailed consideration and measures to improve the management. We assume that the other guests will not come again and will stay overnight at Sakudaira Station, a Shinkansen stop. We apologize for the inconvenience. You can feel the fresh air on highland, over 2,000 m altitude above the sea level. Newly established building architecture is artistically designed for modern living and comfortable stay. …

I guess it was after staying at Naeba Prince Hotel that I realized the value of being able to go up to the third floor up to the third floor and go to the bathroom and meals using the stairs from my room. The entire building blends into the environment, and is very calming, making it the perfect place to retreat. It hasn't even been 5 years since it was renovated and opened, so the building and rooms are all clean and calm. I like the feeling of eliminating all unnecessary glitter. For ski (board) enthusiasts, there is a ski locker room that puts you in the shoes of a skier, and you won't find a locker room like this anywhere else in Japan. What caught my attention was the food. I was able to get a good score for dinner, but the breakfast felt terrible, perhaps because I ate breakfast at a hotel in Hakodate in January. It's on the top (in the middle) of a mountain, so it's not as good as the inns in Hakodate, where seafood is plentiful, but I wish they would have served at least one grilled fish. Even my daughter, who went with me, said that there was a lot of fried food. Also, the waiter (waitress) doesn't have much time to spare. It can't be helped since there were many young people (early 20s?), but I wish they would educate them a little more and be able to greet customers with a smile. This year, when I visited ASAMA2000 (Takamine Highlands) for the first time in about 30 years, there was not much snow. Next time I go, I want to enjoy the original ASAM2000 (Takamine Highlands) with even deeper snow and the Mountain Hotel.
