My husband and I go to Tsugaike Nature Park every summer and during the autumn leaves season.I'm looking forward to staying at Schanze.The owner and his wife are very warm-hearted people and I feel like they are my relatives. Each dish is carefully and deliciously prepared using locally sourced ingredients that are good for the body.In addition to the full course, the host's hand-made 100% new soba noodles and soba soup are also exquisite.Breakfast includes several types of homemade bread and jam made with natural yeast. The egg dishes and salads are also very delicious.I came back yesterday for two nights, and I can't wait to go next time. We are grateful to the couple who enjoy cooking for the guests.

From the entrance, it looks quite dated, but the dining area is very nice with an atrium, and the reading space with a fireplace is small and has a relaxing atmosphere.Tickets for Tsugaike Nature Park seemed to be discounted, so I got the tickets and rice balls before checking in and went to Tsugaike.I thought the Tsugaike parking lot was suspicious, so I walked for about 5 minutes and it was full! It was nice that it was within walking distance. The rice balls were also delicious!When I briefly greeted your wife, I thought, ``Oh, you're such a nice person!'' I saw the Pax Naturon hand soap in the bathroom of my room and thought, oh, this might be a good place to stay! I was happy that it was kind to nature lovers and the earth. The best part is the meal prepared by my husband! We are particular about using natural ingredients and do not add unnecessary seasonings. Everything was so delicious that I thought it was a Macrobi hotel.Unfortunately, there was a noisy group of uncles and aunts talking so loudly that I couldn't hear the conversation with my husband. (It wasn't just because of the alcohol, but it was so noisy until the morning that I felt a little sorry for him, thinking that he must always be classy and like that.) I was woken up by the sound of the door.But breakfast was delicious, so I washed it all away and it was OK! I was full and happy. Thank you very much to your kind wife and genius chef husband!

Mr. Schanze in Otari Village for the first time in 4 yearsFriendly owner coupleA soothing spaceDishes born from careful workThe owner's handmade soba noodlesFrog-chan too...Nothing had changed.That made me more happy than anything.Even though I was a beginner in mountain climbing, I was able to climb Mt. Karamatsu thanks to him carefully talking to me about the mountain.Mr. Schanze's we ate at the top of the mountain.The rice balls were the ultimate luxury.

Visited on the first day of the three-day holiday during Obon. While the prices at other hotels have skyrocketed, we were very satisfied with 2 luxurious meals included for 15,000 yen!I visited by motorcycle, and as soon as I arrived, they showed me around the garage.Motorcycles can be a lot of trouble when they get wet, so I'm really grateful to accommodations that take care of things like this.Customer service is very attentive and warm. Although the room felt a little dated, it was clean and I thought the amenities were well thought out.The bath was also large enough for 2 to 3 people to take a bath, so I was able to comfortably bathe by myself!And the best part was the food.Using locally sourced ingredients, the elaborate dishes have an outstanding flavor that allows you to feel the texture of the ingredients.Although the menu was not limited by genre, I was deeply moved by each item as I ate them. The handmade soba noodles were also on par with soba restaurants. And the dessert, almond tofu, is also exquisite!Dinner is free refills of rice and miso soup, and breakfast is all-you-can-eat bread, so even big eaters will be satisfied (^^)I usually stay overnight without meals and use the money to splurge at delicious restaurants, but I thought a cheap and delicious accommodation would be the best♪I'll visit you again!

I stayed here after descending from Hakuba.The dinner was very voluminous, each item was carefully plated, the plates were nice, and it was very, very delicious.The 100% soba noodles also exceeded my expectations.The owner and his wife are also very nice people and we are sure to buy again.

Thank you for your help every year.Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and I always stay here when I come to Tsugaike.They welcome us even before check-in and are always helpful.It's a shame that there wasn't much snow this year, but we hope to see you again next season 🙏
