Pictures on the website are misleading. Our room was below the level of the street, stinky old carpet and very small. I don’t understand how that can pass the security rules. If there is a fire or something, it’s a mice trap. …

Stayed 3 nights at the Wind Jacket, overall it was a pretty painful experience. Upon arrival at 2pm in the afternoon after a long flight the front desk was closed up with no one around. …

My partner and I stayed in a 5 bed dorm with 3 of our friends. The room was very small with about a single bed of space to store the luggage of all 5 of us. Not great, but to be expected. …

I've been to Hakuba for travel on a few occasions and in my opinion this is one of the best places to stay for your money. It is right near the Happo-one ski area, only 100m down the road. …

Nice, quiet and quant. While this lodge is not exacily considered family friendly it is a great place to stay if you are in a small group or by your self. The lodge managers are super chill and some mind the more roudy affairs that seem to go down ever night in the lounge.Facilities are all here and are always clean and ready to go. Free breakfast is provided every morning, while it is simple it is exacily what your body calls for before a hard days skiing. My only gripe is the lack of an open kitchen to cook your own meals in and the lack of a laundry.Over all this is a great skii bum lodge if you are looking to make a few new mates and have some rowdy nights in.

So my partner and I got to the lodge after a 5 hour train trip and were exhausted. We had to stay in a dorm room for the first night due to the lodge being booked. …
