August 2023 We are closed again this year. There is a tip system and very clean restrooms. It's a great place to take a break before hiking through the snow.

The cabin was not open this year. disappointing. If this place was open, it would have been a little easier to climb.

As of August 2022, only toilets are installed. There are no mountain lodges. There is almost no shelter from the rain, so be careful. There was also no water source here. The mountain hut is apparently dismantled and reassembled repeatedly every season. Due to the decrease in the number of mountain climbers due to the coronavirus, the business is closed again this year.

At the moment this lodge does not exist. Looks like a work in progress. So do make arrangements for your crampons etc beforehand.

It can be accessed in about an hour from the Sarukura trailhead. As of September 2021, there are no buildings at this location.According to the information on the website, it will not be open in 2021.It is unclear whether a new building will be built after 2022.This is the starting point of Hakuba Daisetsukei. There are no buildings, but there is a large space, so many people take a break here when climbing Mt. Hakumadake.``Welcome to Daisetsukei'' written on a large stone is the symbol of this place, and it was quite impressive.

2021. It seems that Hakubajiri Sanso was not opened this year, probably due to the lack of climbers due to the coronavirus pandemic. You must use the restroom at Sarukuraso. The Daisetsu Gorge seen from here was quite scenic, and I was relieved to see so many climbers taking a break.

I visited on July 24, 2021, and as the notice on the internet said, ``We will not be open in 2021,'' the building materials were still there and no building was being built.
