If you want to experience Japanese culture, I think this is the place for you! ! ! ! It feels like returning to my hometown and being greeted warmly but kindly and taken care of~There are tatami mats that won’t make your skin itchy and prickly, and white fluffy beds.At dinner, they will introduce the ingredients and cooking methods of each meal in a language you can understand, and will also recommend meals to you. It is a great experience. In particular, the Taiwanese staff helped us take group photos from various angles, chatted about everyday things, introduced travel tickets, etc. We were so touched.Although it is possible to speak Chinese, most of the communication among the staff is in Japanese, and there will be no feeling of "I am clearly in Japan, but I feel like I am in Taiwan or an English-speaking country"Tweet😍😍

Small but beautiful hot spring hotel. One room and two food. Great value for money. The warm and friendly staff, the boss and the landlady’s service attitude is really great. Especially when I met the handsome Taiwanese guy at the counter who gave the explanation, it was even more satisfying. I went out to the lake early in the morning to take photos of Mount Fuji. Take a souvenir

Okey ryokan but very high price for the quality as it is very expensive for what you get when compared to all other hotels in our tripViews of mt fuji from room are only from the corner.Mt Fuji views from onsen are good for woman onsen, men's onsen is just in one corner.Food is ok, but not highest quality. E.g.: They dont ask about allergies or food restrictions. Sashimi was not that fresh. They prepare food around 1h before and just leave it out on the table. Meals from one day to the next are almost identical. Dessert's were very much below expectations.Timing of meals was not very flexible.Staff is very friendly and nice.Installations for bathroom are pretty oldNo hand towels given

Wanted to add another positive review because this place deserves it. The service was amazing, and the staff was always really kind. The dinners and breakfasts were very filling and excellent, with great attention to detail. The rooms were really nice and it felt great to experience a ryokan onsen style hotel in our vacation, 100% worth it.The hotel is also really well positioned, as it’s right in front of the lake where you can see Mount Fuji in all its beauty.

I stayed with my family of 4.There are a lot of accommodations in Lake Kawaguchi, so I wasn't sure where to stay, but I'm really glad I chose this one.My family seemed very satisfied. The room was clean and I had a comfortable stay. I was a little concerned about the dim lighting in the restroom. The food...all the dishes were delicious and elaborate. The portion was large and I was full. Both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying! The bath...I only took it at night, so it was dark and I couldn't see Mt. Fuji, but the temperature was just right and it felt good. There weren't many people and I was able to enter comfortably.Service...Everyone was very nice and attentive.
