This place is wonderful and at a great price point! The room we had was spacious, had an amazing view of Mt. Fuji, came with a delicious breakfast and access to the tattoo friendly indoor and outdoor onsen 😄 The onsen even had massage chairs which we LOVED. The location is close to the lake and anything you would want and they offered us free transport to and from the bus station. Also they had the fluffiest comforter I have ever slept in. Can’t recommend enough!

1000 gardens used for day trip hot springsAll the people at the front desk were foreigners, but they were polite. There are two large baths: one indoor bath and one open-air bath.No saunaThe coin locker was a no return at Hyakuen. The hot springs seem to be the selling point, but with added water heating and chlorine. It was usually just hot water. It seems that many foreigners use it.
