Room was clean and comfy. Recommend for anyone who travel to Kawaguchiko. It's a very good hostel. The rooms are clean and the atmosphere is good. They renovated a 150 year old building. The atmosphere in the house is clean and comfortable. Anyone who goes to Kawaguchiko, this place is another good choice. There are food and drinks. There's a cafe inside as well. It's very convenient. The walk to the bus terminal isn't too far. From the hostel, it takes about half an hour to walk to the lake. Personally, when I come to travel, I like to walk because I want the atmosphere of that place. This city is very cute. Each house grows vegetables and has a garden. It's cute.

Unfortunately I got lost on Mt. FUJI when I was supposed to check into the hostel by 7 and I had no service to contact them. I tried to reach out when I was leaving the mountain late in the evening and they were very kind to send me a code so I could come and check in even though it was after hours. My internet was still not working and I wasn't able to see it until morning so I never got to stay but they were very kind over email and understanding so I think their service deserves a score of 100. If I'm ever in town again I want to come by and stay there and thank them in person for being so kind.

Since I booked the mixed room twice separately, the two beds have different feelings:A01 is opposite to the lower bed at the front door, and the lower bed of A03. The lower bed of A03 is a nightmare. I found that anyone passing by, even if they walk lightly, will feel an earthquake. In the morning, they will wake up in their sleep and bounce. It was because someone was jumping on the ground (I guess it was the guest on the upper bed). Fortunately, I stayed in bed A03 for one night and bed A01 for 3 nights. Although the A01 bed is facing the door, everyone will see my bed when they come in, but at least it will not be affected by earthquakes when people walk by. I came here last time in the winter of 2019, and it felt good, but the A03 bed was too bad. The accommodation provides a kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, hot water, induction cooker, toaster, microwave, cups, etc. It is very complete and very clean. Of course, after use, you must clean it before the next person can use it cleanly. I will come again next time, but refuse to use the A03 bed. Tip: There are 403 washing machines and dryers nearby, which are new and easy to use.

Good things:You can see Mount Fuji when you go out. The bed is very big. The staff speaks good English and will explain the precautions in detail when checking in. It is about a 10-minute walk from the station and there is a refrigerator. The bad:1️⃣Wi-Fi is sad💔, I can only receive a little Wi-Fi in the dormitory where I live. The speed is so slow that it’s almost impossible to watch the video.2️⃣The public area has two parts, divided into the kitchen (which can only seat two people, accounting for about 15% of the overall public area) and a restaurant and bar they opened themselves. But I asked the waiter and learned that if you haven't ordered food or wine before they close, you can't sit in the restaurant and can only stay in the kitchen. This is very disappointing.3️⃣It’s 2024 and I don’t know why I have to make my own bed when I check in?

Rooms are well-maintained and hygienic. The service is top-tier as the staff are all pleasant and accommodating. To all those who want to wake up and be greeted by the beauty of Mt. Fuji, this is the place to be! Don’t get me started on how aesthetically good the place is.
