Although it may not look very nice from the outside, the rooms do not lack anything: air conditioning, toiletries, cleaning, yukatas, tea,…towels are changed daily and there is a private toilet in the rooms. Showers and shared bathroom, clean and with gel, shampoo and conditioner. Somewhat far from the bus station but very correct and recommended.

Fujinoya Ryokan is the kind of hotel you'd rather just spend one night in and then forget as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, we had booked three nights here, and it was a misstep. …

We had a lovely stay, the staff was friendly, the view of the Mount Fuji from the room was stunning but too bad that they didn’t have any bicycles in working conditions at the moment of our stay as they are not next to bus stops / train station so we wasted a lot of time commuting.

The location is a bit far from the station, it takes 20 minutes to walkThere are three ABC buildings, all nearbyA is a triple room. The room is a bit small for three people, and you have to look into the room to see the entire Mount Fuji. But it’s usually blocked by cloudsB has a bathhouse, which is small. If multiple people are washing at the same time, the water pressure will be insufficient. The double room looks like this too.C has a recreation room where you can play billiards or billiards, but there is no air conditioning and you will be really sweaty after playing.Breakfast and dinner will be paid for where you stay, and it feels like microwave food. I can't comment on the dinner, but the breakfast is really not acceptable. This is the first time I have eaten rice balls and they taste so strange. You can rent bicycles where you stay, but they are very traditional, so it will be a bit difficult to ride uphill (for someone like me who doesn’t ride often)One time is 1100 yen, everyone is considering itThe service staff had a Chinese guy at the time, so I made good use of the accommodation. However, the service staff are quite friendly! Very good attitude

I personally like it here. Not the best hostel but probably the best u could get with this budget. The location is slighty remote which is bad for transportation when u check in and check out. However, it is more peaceful and quiet as u are in local neighbourhood rather than in busy main road.If u rent a bicycle like I did, going out and getting back will be very convenient. However please note that they do not have private shower room, the shower room is together with the bath room where everything is shared.Which means that u will have to bath or shower tgt with other guests.I do think its a good experince tho, but this might not be for everyone.
