I stayed with my wife and their dog during the peak of autumn leaves. Overall, I am very satisfied with the location, exterior, interior, food, and service. You will be staying in a renovated Kyoto townhouse. After checking in at the Rakuryuan counter near Kyoto Station, we headed straight to the location on our own. After driving for about 15 minutes, you will arrive at the parking lot. If you walk from the parking lot into a narrow street, you will see the Kyomachiya inn. As soon as you stand at the entrance, you can already feel the atmosphere of high expectations. The key is an automatic PIN code lock, so there is no need to go out of your way to return the key when checking out. When you open the stylish front door, you will feel nostalgic, as if you have returned to the countryside. The interior has been beautifully renovated while retaining the old parts such as beams, pillars, and doors, creating a very comfortable space. The slightly dim lighting creates a more calming atmosphere.Meals can be catered from a long-established restaurant. All of the products are very elegant, typical of Kyoto, and extremely delicious. I was especially surprised by the tempura from 〇〇, which was my first time in my life. I didn't use it, but there was a delivery guide, so I didn't think I'd have any trouble finding a meal. In addition, we were able to cancel breakfast on the second day due to our convenience, and we were given detailed consideration for my shellfish allergy, so I was able to spend my time with peace of mind and very comfortably. We have all kinds of dog goods, as well as tableware and amenities. The location is within walking distance of Kinkaku-ji Temple and Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, and it's especially luxurious in the evening when you can see the autumn leaves of Kitano Tenmangu Shrine lit up and feel the afterglow of excitement as you walk around with your dog and arrive at the inn. How wonderful it is.It was such a good inn that I would definitely like to stay again someday.

I came here looking for a place where I could stay with my pet. The renovated Kyomachiya was very nice. We were the only ones in the hostel, so we were able to relax. There was a shower corner for pets at the entrance, and they even prepared welcome food for the dogs! It's near Kitano Tenmangu Shrine and the surrounding area is a residential area, so there aren't many restaurants near the inn. There is a kitchen where you can prepare simple meals, so it would be fun to buy all kinds of ingredients and cook for yourself (´∀`)If you want to take your dog for a walk, we recommend Funaokayama Park, which is about a 15-minute walk from the inn. It's a small mountain that you can easily climb, so you can easily go there.
