I used it with two friends and their families. I applied for a walking service in the neighborhood with my overnight plan, and thanks to Mr. Yamamoto's guidance, I had a great experience. The children (kindergarteners) enjoyed the experience of coming into contact with nature, which they would not normally have, and experiencing actually harvesting food and eating it on the spot, which was a very valuable experience. The hotel is located in an old private house, but the bath, toilet, and kitchen were very clean, and the other room had a kettle and a large tatami hall with a floor plan where children could relax and enjoy themselves. If you come to Wajima, you won't want to come to this hotel, but rather come to Wajima for the whole Satoyama hotel. This is a hotel that is worth it.I also want to experience the seasonal scenery and harvest, so it looks like it will become an annual event.

Really great accommodation. Our unit was an entire Japanese home with a front lawn and parking spot and everything.House was clean, spacious, great (sometimes fancy) amenities, great check in experience, good wifi, several AC units and stoves for warmth, and really reasonable price.Kitchen has comprehensive utensils including all the stuff necessary to make pour over coffee. There’s even a irori (Japanese fire pit) which is super neat!Great for large groups. There were 2 beds and at least 4 sets of futons, and a hammock. This was the kind of place I’d love to stay at for an extended amount of time.

I used it with my 1 and a half year old child. What was impressive was the Satoyama walking tour and dinner. You can walk through the countryside while talking with your guide, harvest freshly laid eggs, vegetables from the fields, and wild plants, and serve the ingredients for dinner. It was a great time to enjoy dinner while feeling the story of how the food was brought to the table. On the way home, we were taken to see fireflies. It is said that there are events unique to Satoyama every season, so just thinking about which season to visit next gets me excited. The inn has been beautifully renovated, and the children loved the spacious and open verandah. The kitchen and dining room also have a calm atmosphere, and I was happy to see the owner's thoughtfulness in the specialty coffee beans and lacquerware. In the morning, my son seemed to be having fun walking around the neighborhood and playing on the swings and seesaws that the neighbors had made for us.The breakfast of rice cooked in a pot was very delicious and filled me up.Every aspect of my stay at the inn was a unique Satoyama experience, so I was so satisfied that I didn't even need to go to tourist spots.I'll go visit again.

You can spend a relaxing time in the peaceful countryside. While retaining the charm of the old house, the bath and toilet have been beautifully renovated and are comfortable to stay in.
