This is a ryokan with a very quiet atmosphere. It's about a 30-40 minute walk from Yufuin Station, but it was worth the walk to see the nearby scenery. I highly recommend it if you want to see several shrines in a mid-way location, such as Ogosha Shrine, which ironically is a hidden attraction in Yufuin, or Tenso Shrine near Kinrin Lake. When you arrive, leave your luggage and walk to Kinrin Lake. Be sure to visit Tenso Shrine while walking! Please listen. The scenery is amazing. The front desk is open from 8 to 9, the kaiseki breakfast is excellent, and the staff are very friendly. I think they are more friendly because a lot of Koreans make reservations. I highly recommend it.

Hikarinoie, which I visited last May! 🩵 There are no Korean reviews, so I’ll write a few words!In conclusion, I really recommend it :)Luckily, I was upgraded to a room, and the outside view from the room was beautiful!Also, because it was a rainy day, my flip-flops were covered in muddy water and my carrier was dirty, so I asked for wet tissues and they cleaned them up themselves. 🥹In addition, the services, including a map of nearby restaurants and welcome tea and caramel, were so good that I wouldn't envy a 5-star hotel!In particular, the breakfast is one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had, so be sure to try it!!

The staff were so friendly. There was also a Korean manual for Koreans. The explanation was in English and he personally explained all the facilities in the ryokan. The room was well-air conditioned and although you could occasionally hear noises from the next room, the soundproofing was good. The location was disappointing because it was about a 15-minute walk from Yufuin Station and Floral Village, but the scenery along the way was so pretty that I actually enjoyed the walk. The hot springs can be used for 55 minutes per room in the evening. It was a good time because it was a private hot spring. It is a public hot spring from 6 to 8 a.m. It would be nice to take a bath in the hot spring when you come out in the morning. I made a reservation with breakfast included and was able to choose between 8 and 8:30 breakfast times. The breakfast looks small in the photo, but if you ask for more rice, they give it to you, so it was enough. Also, the taste was traditional Japanese and delicious to Koreans too. If you ask for your luggage by 9:00 in the morning, there is a service that will bring it to the bus center in front of Yufuin Station by 11:30 for 300 to 400 yen each.

First of all, as soon as I walked in, I felt good because they were so friendly. It was nice that they provided a map in Korean, and welcome tea and homemade mochi were delicious. I was very happy to be upgraded to a 12 tatami room! I haven’t been able to use the hot springs yet, but I’m looking forward to it!

Although it is far away from the station, it is relatively close to Jinlin Lake. The receptionist is very friendly and basically speaks English. The milk in the refrigerator tastes great, with a strong sweetness and milky flavor.

The staff are so friendly. The surrounding scenery is so nice and nature-friendly! It’s a different feeling from the Gangwon ditch and a different feeling from the Boseong green tea fields! I highly recommend it. Also, it was great that each team was given the opportunity to use the hot spring privately for 45 to 55 minutes at night. Of course.

It’s about 15/20 minutes’ walk from Yufuin Station and about 15 minutes’ walk from Kinrin Lake! You can reserve a hot spring bath when you stay. The meals and coffee are very delicious. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic in recommending the best meals and attractions nearby. If I have the opportunity to visit Yufuin again, I will want to stay there again!
