Try staying in a bungalow solo. One house cost 4,400 yen plus the mountain entrance fee of 440 yen, which ended up costing us nearly 5,000 yen per night. Unlike sleeping in a tent, I didn't have to worry about setting up and taking down the tent, so I was able to enjoy the elegant and fresh feeling, but if it costs 220 yen per night for a regular tent night, it might be better. There is only space for about 5 cars in the parking lot, and usage is restricted to accommodate this, so no matter what time you visit, it won't be crowded.

I used it for camping (staying in a tent) on a weekday in mid-February. Usage fee is only 220 yen.Sunny, 9 degrees during the day, -3 degrees at dawn, the night dew was so heavy that the tent was frozen solid both inside and outside.Reception is at the Fureai Kaikan, which is a little far away.Reservations can be made by phone, but I don't think you can specify a site.If you are staying in a tent, the first problem will be transport (except behind the dining building), and the slope is quite steep.I used the sloped site on the left side of the administration building, but I was sweating even though it was winter because I had to carry it in by hand.It seems relatively easy to peg down. The surface is dirt, but there are places with gravel that make it difficult for the pegs to pass. The slope site is a terrace and is quite far away, so I think privacy is fine. The campsite is located in a secluded area and is very quiet. There is a pond on the south side, so there was a sense of openness. Also, there were three streetlights along the walking path around the pond, so it wasn't completely dark. There was only one streetlight on the slope site. There is a switch in the administration building so you can choose to go dark.Because the location faces south, the tent dries quickly. There are several trees that look like firewood placed at each tent site, but most of them are live trees. Collecting firewood was relatively easy.Docomo has one antenna, no 3~4G Wi-FiThere wasn't much sign of animals this time.
