After enjoying half a day of canyoning in the afternoon, we stayed in a Type B (2 W beds, 2 S beds) room with half board per night (24,750 yen for adults, 12,375 yen for elementary school students). Free coffee machine in the lobby, board games, bonfire marshmallows in the fireplace, world's best pizza and game food, night tour (30 minutes), breakfast basket that can be eaten indoors or outdoors wherever you like (freshly baked brioche is the best), Above all, the staff's natural and casual customer service attitude. The price is high for Ehime, but I think it's reasonable considering the contents.

A young and warm staff welcomes you to this place surrounded by nature. Taking great care of us, Maiko and her team gave us a perfect stay that we would have liked to extend. The room was spacious, the bedding comfortable, the carefully prepared hot bath was a pleasure to prepare for this night in the great outdoors. The food is excellent, the chef prepared a high quality Italian meal for us, the service was perfect in a happy and relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed the nighttime tour around the area with a guide and the marshmallows to grill were waiting for us on our return. In the morning we had a picnic basket for an excellent breakfast by the stream and I had the chance to go with Maiko to see the toriiwa in the forest. I highly recommend the Riversid Lodge, for a stay disconnected from time

This is the first time since the summer when my daughter participated in the ``10-night, 11-day camp'' sponsored by the Waterside Operation Lodge. The staff's ``welcome back'' made me feel at ease.As always, I was able to enjoy the comfort and friendliness of each and every staff member.Dinner was a Christmas version, with pasta and pizza of choice, and my daughter, Kami, and I each decided on the main dish, but it was so appealing that I wanted to eat all the horses!Breakfast is a solid Japanese meal, with rice cooked in an earthenware pot, Uwajima sea bream rice, and Uchiko's rich egg ``Tomorrow''.Miso soup with plenty of boiled food and local root vegetables! No matter when I come, I am very satisfied with the staff's service and the food! ︎

A lodge located at the headwaters of the Shimanto River. The location is great next to the river. You can also hike along the mountain stream from the hotel, and it takes about 3.40 minutes one way to reach a nearby waterfall. My personal highlight is the large deep pool near the waterfall. There was a strong presence of Amago fish, and there were dozens of them swimming around. I couldn't help but want to try casting a lure, but I wasn't sure if it was okay to fish. The management changed a few years ago (previously it was run under designated management by the town), and young staff, mostly immigrants, are now working there. The cleaning is thorough and the rooms are clean. American type? Although it was a room, it had a refreshing and bright impression. Dinner is Italian cuisine made with local ingredients, and breakfast is a lunch box that you can eat in your room or outside. The price is a little high, but it feels like a rare luxury. There are many young staff serving customers, so it can be a bit awkward, but it's a young inn that has just started, so I don't have a bad impression. I would like them to continue to evolve while maintaining their current style.By the way, if you go by car, you have to go through the Meguro area or you will have to take a terrible road (Prefectural Route 317). The hotel contacted me in advance and told me that if I wanted to use the navigation system, I would have to go through the Meguro Post Office.Furthermore, I like prefectural roads (steep roads), national roads (tough roads), and forest roads, so I took that route out of curiosity, but although it was paved, the road surface was covered with leaves and branches such as cedar trees. It was a really rough road, with one lane, no guardrails, falling rocks, and places where the roadbed had caved in (lol).Shikoku is famous for its terrible road 439, but this one is also terrible. I probably don't manage anything other than the part where I'm doing forestry along the way.I wouldn't worry about it if it was a private car, but since I was renting a car, I was very careful (although I went there because it was a Probox). This is not a problem if you have a car with a lot of ground clearance, but it is better to avoid it if you are using a regular car. There are almost no places where the core parts overlap.

Free drinks made with natural water are available in the lobby with a fireplace. This quality in the mountains! I was so happy to have an Italian dinner that I couldn't finish, and the breakfast basket.Although there are some things I haven't mastered yet, I'm also happy with the smiling faces and thoughtfulness of the staff. The projects carried out at the main building are interesting and empathetic. I want them to have a solid philosophy and work hard for the future of the region and nature. If we can improve the service little by little with various ideas so that guests can enjoy consecutive nights, I think it will become an even nicer hotel.

The location of the lodge is truly ``another world'' with abundant nature. The building is stylish and has a nice retro-modern feel. The food is authentic Italian and very delicious! Ingredients that are hard to taste, such as red beef from Tosa, kueru fish caught in the sea of Ehime, and delicious local rice.I had it with steak, pizza, and pasta. The night tour is an event that everyone from children to adults can enjoy.

It was farther than I expected and it took me a while to get there, but it was such a nice place that it made all that difference.Breakfast comes in a basket so you can eat it anywhere on the property. Leisure sheets are also available. If I have a chance, I would like to use it again.

The interior of the hotel is very nice. It's nice to take a walk upstream in the valley, swim in the natural pool under the hotel, play in the river, have the world's best pizza (the tomato and cheese are the best), Kochi's Akaushi is delicious, and have Kamikatsu beer in your room. It's the perfect environment to relax and refresh. The pizza was so delicious that I ordered it frozen as a gift for a friend. The tent sauna is also very relaxing with mugwort mist. The setting and hospitality were great. As we headed upstream of the valley, we enjoyed walking and trekking, entering the river and seeing large rocks.
