stayed here for a ski weekend. Really pleasantly shoeless by how good it was. Lovely warm onsen, beds are comfortable, and the owners are very helpful. Easy walk to the slopes and buy lift tickets and rent gear at the front desk. The breakfast is also great value at 1200Yen and made ready for you at a time you choose.

We had the pleasure of staying at this charming winter retreat, where the warmth of the owners, a lovely couple, made out stay truly memorable. The hotel is mixed traditional Japanese and Western styles. It felt like living in a cozy, creating a lively and authentic experience.

We stayed 5 nights to go snowboarding at naeba, the owner was super friendly! Location wise not too far from the slopes, probably around 10 mins walk? There is a little shortcut through the side next to the ramen shop too, and there are a few supermarkets and restaurants nearby too.We had the Japanese styled room with the private bathroom, and it was very spacious

It was a sudden stay, but there was a cancellation before the typhoon, so I was able to stay safely. In conclusion, I won't be staying here again.Since there was no screen door and the window was left open, the shoji screen was torn and debris and dead leaves were scattered around the pillow. There is no coolerNormally, I don't have high expectations because I have the impression that staying overnight without meals is good as long as you can sleep, but it was hard to believe that this is a business that takes money from customers. It was very unpleasantIt can't be helped that it's old, but the problem was before that!I would like you to set up a system to properly welcome customers and operate your business.

Its like home away from home. I stayed here for a night last weekend. I love the common living room area which offers a fantastic view of Naeba Ski resort and Mt Naeba in general. The rooms are typical Japanese ryokan with basic amenities and common onsen area which is surprisingly spacious. If you are going for Winter sports activity around Naeba and Kagura, this hotel is good option for a night.

I was a bit scared when I saw some of the reviews about this place but having just spent two nights there, I was overall quite satisfied. The building is clearly old, but the owners keep it quite tidy and have made an effort to brighten the place up by hanging up art and plants (mostly fake). The room was cozy enough and the bath plenty hot. Breakfast was a generous size for 1000 yen. The owner (the husband) speaks pretty good English. It's a 10 minute walk or less to Naeba ski resort.

The Japanese-style room we stayed in was quite historical. The hot water knob for the wash basin in the room has disappeared. Only use cold water to brush your teeth and wash your face. TV, wifi, lighting, heating are all very good. The room was covered with towels and the cleanliness was OK. The breakfast included is delicious, with a lot of fruits and vegetables, so healthy. Bread is also delicious. You can start off with a full meal before skiing. Ski rental can be arranged at the hotel. Very new and reasonably priced. Changing the size is almost impossible. It costs RMB 1,500 to buy a pair of snow goggles. It's not easy to waste time around.
