This inn is run by the landlady and her young husband (her son).As you drive towards the inn, you will notice that the temperature drops as the altitude increases. We escaped from the heat and enjoyed plenty of hot water and delicious food.Since we were in the mountains, I didn't have high expectations for dinner, but I was satisfied with both the appearance and taste of the cooking prepared by the young master, who had been trained after studying at a culinary school. The hostess's thoughtfulness and kindness will remain in my heart. This is also an inn I would like to stay at.

I have visited Tsubame Onsen several times, but this was my first time staying here.It was a Monday, just after the rainy season had started, and the landlady was kind enough to accommodate two groups, allowing us to use both baths during our stay.In the rain falling in a straight line, the open-air bath was quite low and lukewarm...As someone who likes warm water, I put on a hat and took a long bath.Dinner is all about mountain food and all the dishes are delicious! ! Honestly, I wasn't expecting much (sorry (_ _;)), so it was a happy miscalculation. Also, my son explained alcohol in detail and carefully, and we had a great time. The next morning, I went to the open-air bath ``Golden Hot Spring'' above the sea of clouds. As the name suggests, there are lots of swallows flying around. After enjoying the bath so much that I couldn't take it anymore, I headed back home. The landlady and her son saw me off outside.thank you very much!I would like to visit you again!

I stopped by when I stayed at Myoko Kogen 41 years ago.Touji and Tsubame Onsen had only one Hira-ya inn, and there were no other inns in the area. I remember hearing from my father 41 years ago that his son became a ski athlete and participated in the Olympics.Even though the number of inns has increased since then, the number of guests hasn't increased that much, but I just think it would be a problem if there were four. It's a hot spring inn that is closed in the winter and only open in the summer, but we spent quite a bit of money building a luxurious four-story hotel. It's been 40 years since then, and we moved to the UK and are now retiring in London, but we're busy every day, and we're still renovating the aging parts of our house, and we're about to apply a double coat of rubber-based paint to all the exterior walls. It's in front ofHowever, the Myoko Imperial Hotel, which was part of the Imperial Hotel Group at that time, ended up disappearing and being managed by another company. Surprisingly, many customers come from the Osaka area. What about now?

Hot water is the best!Meals depend on taste. It was an interesting experience to eat a variety of wild vegetables. I think it's the best for people who like Japanese sake. One night and two meals costs about 13,000 yen. Isn't that a bargain?

The hot springs are lukewarm. The room is average. The rice is delicious. The owner personally goes into the mountains and brings out wild vegetables. The person who picked it will cook it and serve it to you, so you can ask anything you want. There is a free golden hot spring near the top of the hill.

I stayed for 2 nights in early fall 2018. Access is a bit troublesome as you have to transfer from the Hokuriku Shinkansen to a conventional line. If possible, I would like a direct train or a shuttle from Joetsu-Myoko Station. The inn itself is small, and the bathhouse is not very large. The quality of the hot spring water is colorless, has no unique smell, and is smooth and leaves a good impression. The source temperature is also suitable at 44°. By the time I got into the bathtub, the temperature had dropped by about 2 degrees Celsius. If you pour hot water over it, it won't be that hot. Most of the rooms are 6 tatami mats. The toilet is also shared. Well, if you just sleep, there's no problem. As for the food, I can't help but feel unsatisfied. The score for side dishes is low. It's a menu that doesn't cost much, so it's hard to deny that profits are prioritized. Even though it's called a sake set, it's a bit of a nuisance for Shimoto, and I want them to focus more on the meal itself. The main dish is wild vegetables, so it's not enough for young people. There is no lunch provided, so it's probably Chinese food near the hotel. A ramen shop? I'll have to do it. There aren't any other stores, so it's fine as long as your stomach is full. If I were to rate the hot spring ♨️ alone, it would be a star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
