A restaurant and inn.I came here with high expectations because the food is front and center.You can eat pretty good quality food. Top class among inns.The contents were good enough to be served separately at a restaurant.Enjoy a room bath with water flowing directly from the source while feeling natureThe large public bath where you can relax is also wonderful.I think it was good to stay here.Both Mr. Nakai and the proprietress are very friendly and offer warm hospitality.I got the impression that the hostess's heart reaches out to Mr. Nakai in a calm manner, and that this is a good inn that nurtures people.10 rooms on a site of 5,000 tsubo. Enjoy a relaxing time in a luxurious space.Although it is a long distance from Yubatake, they also provide transportation.

My husband and I stayed in the detached irori room.Guest room open-air bath fed directly from the Kusatsu Onsen source.A variety of dishes as delicate and beautiful as a painting.A wonderful time that flows slowly and quietly.I had the best vacation with my wife😊The landlady, the general manager, the head chef, and all the staff.Thank you very much for your help 🙇♂️"Thank you🙏"

In particular, the food was delicate and exquisite.If I had to be greedy, I think it would be perfect if the coffee at the end of breakfast was a little better.I felt that all the employees were attentive. You can pick up and drop off at Yubatake anytime.

It was a wonderful stay! This is an inn with all three features: good food, good hot water, and good service.Every member of the staff, including the room attendants, was very considerate, yet not pushy, making us feel at ease even though we thought we might be more comfortable in a hotel. I would love to visit again in a different season.

This inn has the best hot springs and food. I've been coming here every year for the past few years, and since it's a Japanese restaurant and inn, the food is amazing. The tableware and utensils are also nice, and although the prices have gone up a little this year, the rooms were renovated last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the food seems to have gotten better. The detached room with an open-air bath is quiet, and my family is satisfied with the fact that we can take a bath with the strongly acidic hot spring water at any time. I gave the location four stars because it's a little far from Kusatsu's symbol Yubatake, but they will pick you up by car even at night. I think it would be better to have a quiet atmosphere.In 2024, the public bath was renovated, and the sauna, which was previously unavailable, is now available for use. The interior of the bathtub and changing room are new and clean, but I also liked the old state of the room, which looked a little dated.

My long-awaited azalea, a spacious Japanese-style room with 12.5+6 tatami mats on the first floor, I was able to relieve my stiff shoulders and rest my bones by taking baths and taking breaks repeatedly.Although the food was small, it had a lot of variety, and the food tasted like a Japanese restaurant, which was perfect for an elderly person like me.It would have been nice to have a cool summer menu in a private room with air conditioning.Breakfast was served on a small plate.The salty taste was too strong for me, including the miso soup.I was thinking of going to Tsutsuji-tei as my last stop, but I also wanted to go to Azalea-tei in autumn.

I booked the room with onsen bath tub so I got everything just like I were in the public onsen but in my own room. Very pleasant. Services were impressive. Since dinner and breakfast were served in the room, the staff will come into your room at the time you book dinner and breakfast with the knocking and greeting sounds before they unlock the door room. It might feel a little strange that someone can come in even when you are not ready. Also the location might be a little off from Yubatake but the hotel offered the private van to drop off and pick up from Yubatake so I’m fine with that. If you like staying near Yubatake and want to stroll around the area at night, this hotel might not answer your need. Overall I was satisfied staying here since it’s tranquil and relaxing. The food was very tasty too.

What you can see from the room is a lot of trees and it has a very nice atmosphere.The food in particular has a lot of reviews, but I was a little concerned about it. It was lukewarm, so that was my only disappointment.

I would especially recommend Dujuan Pavilion to tourists in Taiwan❤️Although the booking process (official website) will take a little time for those of us who don’t speak Japanese, the translation software is really convenient and I hope it won’t be a hindrance to everyone choosing it.If you like "Rotei" hotels as much as we do, then this one will be a good choice!The hotel is a certain distance from the bus terminal. It is not recommended to walk there if you are carrying luggage. The hotel has a shuttle bus to pick you up. Just call them and they thoughtfully thought that we did not have a phone number to call and told us to call the visitor center. Help contact. (The only thing to note‼️pickup time does not include 11-13 noon)During the check-in process, the English-speaking staff helped to introduce the hotel, and there was no communication difficulty. The welcome matcha and fruits started the two days with a sense of ceremony.I especially like their open-air private bath (free 30 minutes for check-in). It has privacy and can enjoy the beauty of the open-air hot spring. If it snows in winter, the atmosphere will be full! Personal recommendations can be reserved for a time slot before dinner. If you don't have enough room, there is also a private bath for you to soak in.Someone will come to the room to pick us up for dinner, and a private room will be provided to give us a sense of privacy, which really adds to the dining experience. Although the staff couldn't explain the food to us in Japanese, she did her best to introduce it to us through translation. Personally, I don't think it has much impact on this part.Overall, compared to similarly priced hotels in Taiwan, this one is really impeccable. I hope more Taiwanese people can come and experience it!

Had a wonderful experience recently, from start to finish. From when we were picked up from the bus terminal initially, all the way to when we were dropped off in the morning, the service and hospitality was friendly, thoughtful, and impeccable.The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable. As there are only 10 rooms, we rarely ran into other guests, and it felt like a private, catered experience. The hot springs, especially the open-air pool, was amazing. We were lucky to visit on a snowy night, and it was an incredibly satisfying experience being in the open-air pool. The food was incredible -- every course was beautiful and flavourful.There may be a slight language barrier for non-Japanese speakers (I was able to get by with Japanese with the hosts) but I would nevertheless highly recommend this establishment and am looking forward to another opportunity to stay in the future.

Kusatsu Onsen I wanted to go to before I die ♨️If you are going to go to a nice inn 😌I went there last fall! Although we couldn't see the autumn leaves, the inn was very spacious, had two toilets, and was surrounded by trees, so we could see nature from the windows, which was amazing.The food was delicious and everything was delicious ✨I enjoyed the dinner too.The bus will take you to Yubatake.I thoroughly enjoyed Yubatake at night 😆I want to go again~ Such a wonderful inn 🕊️

[First visit in January 2023]My first stay in Kusatsu was with a senior from my company. I visited this Tsutsuji-tei.There are only 10 rooms on a large site, so you rarely run into other guests, and each room has an indoor bath with natural hot spring water, so there are no people in the public bath. Even though it was fully booked on the day, it felt like a private stay.If you are coming from the roadside station Kusatsu, do not go into the city center and head towards Tropical Garden, you will find Tsutsuji-tei. As I left my car with the innkeeper at the entrance and signed the lodging book, I was treated to matcha tea and sweets.Each room has an indoor bath with natural hot spring water, and the scent of cypress is wonderful. Although the bathtub is small, it is deep enough that you can soak in it comfortably.The source for both the large public bath and the indoor bath is strongly acidic Bandai ore with no sulfides, so there is no sulfur smell, but it is stinging when it hits your eyes and is very sour when you put it in your mouth. The private bath is said to be sourced from the Yubatake source, and has a strong sulfur smell.It's a little funny that there is a sauna right next to the changing room in the public bath.We ate at the restaurant, but since we were in a completely private room, we enjoyed the wonderful food while feeling a sense of privacy. The dishes change with the seasons, and although the portions of each dish are small, the wide variety of dishes will leave you feeling full.When heading to Yubatake, there was snow on the road, so just in case, we had a bus take us there. You can also call and have someone pick you up on your way home, but it's only about a 15 minute walk, so you can walk back to your accommodation while you're there.The tea provided in the room was not in a tea bag but in a tea caddy, and it was a delicious tea with a taste of the soup stock.The futons are laid out and cleaned up for you while you eat, but I was a little disappointed that they had them cleaned up when I wanted to lounge around in the futons after breakfast. I didn't ask you to clean it up, so I can't help it.Check-out and payment will be done in your room. We all saw them off, and at the end we were even given a souvenir of hot spring steamed buns, which we gratefully received on the train.From start to finish, the people at the inn greeted me with kind smiles, and I felt very relaxed with their careful attention to detail and just the right amount of neglect. Although the price is quite high, it has become one of the hotels I would like to stay at again.

This time, for my birthday, my husband took me to several inns in Kusatsu, and this inn was better than other inns of the same price, with a late-night snack of rice balls, a box of hot spring steamed buns, free beer and cola in the refrigerator, and transportation. Good service.The food is delicious both morning and evening.The proprietress was also bright and friendly, and came to greet us and said, ``I'm sorry we don't have anything for young people.''The hot spring and large communal bath in the room were also very nice!I like it because it's classy and quiet...I was able to heal a lot from the stress of raising children.Thank you very much for your hospitality.

A historical inn.At most ryokans, we don't finish our dinner, but the dinner at Tsutsuji-tei was so delicious that we almost finished it all.A shuttle bus took us to Yubatake.
