We had amazing time there. Yatsuo is an unvisited secret small town with one amazing old edo style street. It’s a quiet place for those who look for some peaceful place to stay that is not on the worn out touristic route. It’s charming and the house we stayed in was a 150 years old house (Sayuri the owner and her husband has 4 different places to stay) the house is traditional Japanese house with a vintage record player with lots of Beatles records. It is a heaven for house who seek some quiet and a good place for those who are traveling to the alpine route from Tateyama station side and want to experience something amazing a night or two night before. Our host Sayuri is a truly amazing woman that gave us a very warm welcome. She also has a shop of kimonos and clothes made From kimonos. Sayuri also told us we are the only tourists in town so this was more thrilling and nice, and ordered a place for us in a very good restaurant in town while informing the owner we are tourists. We travel in Japan already two months. This will be one of the most memorable places we will remember thanks to the hospitality and the place.

We were two days ago. The place is just amazing. The town is quiet and beautiful for lovers of peace and untouristed places. It has a really beautiful street from the Edo period and a general quietness that is simply missing in places that are so touristy in Japan. The place is also really greatFor those who go up to the Alpine road from the area of Tateyama station because it is a 50 minute drive. Tours the hostess is an amazing paddle in another section, hosted us while she pointed out that we were the only tourists in town, booked us places in a small, local restaurant and solemnly informed the owner that we were tourists and were coming (she said he must be very excited to host tourists) it was insanely delicious. Siuri has 4 guest houses in the city and she let us sleep in one that is 150 years old in a traditional Japanese style with a vintage turntable and records by the Beatles and Elton John, it was an experience we will remember the whole trip and the rest of our lives. Syuri is a simply amazing host and she is a truly special woman. She also has a kimono shop nearby and clothes that she makes from kimonos, in short..... run fast before it becomes too touristy, behave politely and according to the rules of the place and keep the place as beautiful and special as it is.

The inn, the townscape, and the landlady are all wonderful places.If you don't know about Yao, I think you can get a better feel for it by reading Tsukikage Babe, a manga based on this town.There are no shopping spots like supermarkets nearby, so if you feel like you're going to have to eat a lot, we recommend you talk to the landlady.You introduced some very interesting places 😁

I had shisha and a cafe drink at a seat on the verandah.. I was able to relax with a nice master, stylish space, and good shisha, and found a nice place to relax.

I visited with a baby and a toddler.I am very satisfied with the cleanliness and ease of use of the room, as well as the thoughtfulness of the children and us. There was a large refrigerator, microwave, and detergent for dishes and kitchen in the room, which I was grateful for as I was traveling with a baby.The view from the room and the cityscape were beautiful.I will definitely use this place again when I go to Toyama.

I stayed with friends.The room had an elegant exterior and was fully equipped with amenities, making it a very comfortable stay.The owner also provided us with a delicious breakfast and introduced us to recommended restaurants for dinner (even though we visited late at night, we were very grateful for introducing us to such wonderful restaurants). 🙇♂) was very kind.

I have stayed at inns all over Japan, but I don't think there is any other inn that is as wonderful as this one. The owner's personality and service spirit are truly wonderful, and I'm sure you'll have a memorable stay.Although the interior was in a traditional Japanese style, it was very clean and I was impressed. This is an inn that we would like to recommend to foreign tourists. Also, this time I stayed with a road bike, and I was able to park my bike right at the entrance, so I felt that the inn was friendly to cyclists.Furthermore, the atmosphere of Yao Town itself is wonderful. It is a town with a calm atmosphere, lined with traditional Japanese houses, and I felt the connection and warmth of the people just by staying there for one day.I would definitely like to come stay again.thank you very much.
