A private lodging facility renovated from an old folk house in the Nakayama area of Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture.The building has been maintained for over 200 years, and the interior has been renovated to create a simple yet clean interior. This is a rental facility where you can also use a fully-equipped kitchen.It is managed by Tobira Group, which runs a number of inns and restaurants, including the famous ryokan Myojinkan, so the quality is high.You can experience a farm-to-table experience where you can pick and eat organic vegetables and herbs from fields.There is also a BBQ set, so you can enjoy the outdoors as well.The deck nestled in the rice field offers a panoramic view of the Alps and Matsumotodaira, which will free your mind. You can enjoy the scenery unique to Satoyama.There is a room that can accommodate up to 8 people, so I think it would be fun to stay with two families, friends, or colleagues as if it were a training camp.A car is required to get around.

First time visiting Matsumoto and Nagano Prefecture.Stayed here during late December. Erii was our concierge and she took care of our needs, we were very comfortable.We stayed with meal plans and everything we had was just perfect. We got to try Shinshu Salmon, Beef, Miso, vegetables grown from the region prepared by chef and a local farmer lady.Even though there was no television, we had a lot of good time just sitting quietly and enjoying the view or soaking in the cedar bathtub that was located outside the villa.Highly regret only spending 3 nights here, we would like to visit again next time for longer!

I stayed overnight without meals.First of all, I was surprised that renovation could be so cool.First, the kitchen.Kitchen made by Millet overseas. nice. Stainless steel sink and large dishwasher. All cooking appliances are available, and you can do anything you want as long as you bring your own seasonings.The baths include a unit bath attached to the room and a separate cypress bath. Both can be a luxurious time.There are bedrooms all over the place, and it can accommodate up to 12 people.Although it was the height of summer, the air conditioning was working and the coolness of Nagano made it a comfortable night.If you walk a little further, you'll find a large tent set up, and you can rent charcoal and equipment to have a barbecue.This is a perfect inn.I'm sure the food will be delicious too.
