Even on days when all the guesthouses are fully booked, I get the impression that there are always empty rooms here, which is very helpful. At 4travel, you could choose only ¥3,459 for a room without meals in a dormitory◯4travel is useful for finding accommodation for multiple nights on Taketomi Island. Up to 10 facilities are displayed on one page, and rates and availability are clear at a glance. There are only about 5 dinner places on Taketomi Island. Even when I called to make a reservation, many places were full, so I managed to find a place that was open. I had a hard time finding the phone number, but it was written on the inside of the low entrance here, so I was saved. The height of the entrance is about 1m. It's so low that I hit my head several times △Dormitory double room, bunk beds, numbers 7 and 8. There are keys in other rooms, but this is a dormitory, so there are no keys, says the owner, who resembles Big Daddy, an ex-backpacker? That was the explanation. Therefore, I always carried my smartphone and wallet with me.This was the only room I was able to reserve, so I had no choice. The guest rooms were the narrowest I've ever been in a guest house. The aisles are narrower than the B sleeper on the sleeper express I took 40 years ago.The bed is a normal size, but the passage in front of the bed and the door are narrow, so when you sit on the bed, it's very close to the wall, making it uncomfortable. I hit my shoulder and elbow many times.Inside the building・There is no common room etc.△・There was only one air conditioner, so I was able to enjoy the breeze when it was hot.・Both temperature and humidity are comfortable◯-The floor is terracotta tiles, so I often sat in front of the shared refrigerator for guests.toilet・Outside・Urinal bowl and toilet bowl with washlet (a function that covers the water surface with bubbles is standard equipment)Yuntaku started outside at around 21:30, and although lights were turned off at 23:30, it continued until after 24:00.Free paper pack awamori service◯Canceled in case of rain or strong winds. The office is illuminated throughout the night, but it appears to be for security purposes. It seems that it has been in business for 23 years.A firefly larva was walking along the road in the village. It is about the size of an adult beetle, and its lower body moves like an inchworm, so the movement of the firefly's light is very cute ◯ 2022.6.20~21---Thank you for your valuable feedback. After reading your reply, I was able to understand the dormitory key issue. We will reconsider this so that it is not viewed from above.I believe that hosts and guests are equal human beings, which allows for a lively exchange of opinions, and I hope that everyone involved can improve together. However, I apologize for the inconvenience caused and I apologize for the inconvenience caused.ーーーーAs I mentioned earlier, only the dormitory was vacant on that day, so I cannot understand the owner's claims regarding the dormitory.I was giving it a ⭐︎ of 4 because there is always a vacancy, but after reading the owner's text, I have no choice but to give it a ⭐︎ of 0.I can't feel the attitude of having a dialogue.I don't think the bed is narrow, and I wrote that when you sit on the bed, the wall is very close and the width of the room is narrow. I was often surprised by this person's reading comprehension.

I wasn't able to say hello to you when I left, so I'll write this instead.Thank you for staying with us for just one night due to a last minute reservation.I stayed in a private room, and the inside of the hotel was clean, air-conditioned, and very comfortable. Out of the four nights I stayed in Yaeyama, I had the best quality of sleep. After relaxing with a small group of people at Yuntaku, we were taken to the coast to look at the stars. It was a clear day with a new moon, and I was able to lie on the sand and watch the Milky Way and shooting stars. On the way back, we also encountered a baby coconut crab.Although the time I stayed there was short, it was the highlight of this trip, thank you very much.I plan to stay with you again when I come to Taketomi.

The men's toilet is outside, which is a bit inconvenient, but it was a reasonably priced hotel with lots of nice people! It seemed to be popular with foreign tourists.

It was a very good guest house. I'll leave it to other reviews about the kind owner and facilities. It's quite difficult to get a chance to talk to other guests unless you're proactive, but here at Yuntaku, which starts around 9pm, everyone from young people to old people can have friendly conversations. Of course, participation is voluntary, so you can stay in your room.Depending on the weather, we will take you to the coast to watch the sunset before sunset, and around 10pm the owner will ask you if you would like to go for a walk to the west pier. Along the way, we will take you to the coast to watch the sunset. It's like a night safari tour as they look for you 👍When you lie on your back at the tip of the west pier and look at the beautiful starry night, you can feel that you are actually on Taketomi Island. This island is also beautiful at night.I brought a tripod and a camera, so my roommate and I tried taking pictures of the constellations. The West Pier is a filming location where you can see the Southern Cross as shown in the photo from January to June (Photo 4).We were blessed with good weather and had a two-night stay that will be a lifetime memory. Next time I'll invite my wife who couldn't come because of work.P.S.: We recommend making reservations at nearby restaurants.

The overall rating is a slightly high 4 stars.I stayed for 2 days and 1 night from Friday to Saturday in July. It's a guesthouse after all, so it's small, the men's toilet is outside, and you can hang your laundry outside to dry.*The women's restroom is indoors. The men's restroom was outside, but it had a washlet and was clean overall. It was comparable to the restrooms in commercial facilities. Hanging your laundry outside to dry may be fun only on an island (lol)I stayed in a private room with bunk beds, there were 3 outlets near the bed, 2 fans, the room was very clean, and there was wifi, so it was a good value for the cost of the stay. Also, I think I will stay there when I have a chance to visit Taketomi Island. The staff was very kind and invited all the guests to stargaze at Kondoi Beach at night.Although we stayed without meals and did not receive any meals, it was a wonderful stay! thank you very much! !

Thank you for staying with us for 2 nights in February. It was reasonably priced, the futon was fluffy, and the shower and toilet were very clean. The owner taught us about the characteristics of the island, places with beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and restaurants, so we had a meaningful time. The stars at night were also beautiful. I will go again

A popular long-established guest house on Takeshima. There are restaurants nearby, making it a very convenient location. The space in front of the hotel building has a tropical feel and is very comfortable. The facility has two showers and separate toilets for men and women (girls are inside the building, boys are outside), and everything is very clean and comfortable, and I felt that it was a place where girls could stay with peace of mind.As mentioned in the reviews, we do not recommend this guesthouse if you do not know what it is like. If you are looking for a higher level of comfort than your daily life, you should stay at an inn or hotel. If you like guesthouses or want to experience the value of guesthouses, be sure to stay here.I'll come back later.

There is a large banyan tree in the garden, and a table is placed in a space with hammocks and swings, making it very relaxing.``Basically, eating and drinking should be done in an outside space,'' so Yuntaku also did it there, except on rainy days. The room was a bit cramped as there was just a little space next to the bunk beds, but it was very clean and comfortable, including the common spaces. There was also a women's only toilet, so I felt safe. The owner was very personable and gave me the contact information and location of restaurants because ``many people become food refugees,'' and prepared a lot of food for a fee just in case.He was very kind. is.They kindly told me about the island and I had a fun stay!It was great to be able to have a fun time talking with the owner, who is fluent in English, and the other foreign and Japanese residents, mixing English and Japanese. You can hang your laundry to dry in the garden, but due to the tropical climate, there are often sudden rains, so some people found their laundry soaking wet during their stay.We recommend using a paid dryer!

I stayed here for 2 nights in late March 2024. I booked a 4-person dormitory online for 6,624 yen, which is an unprecedented price on Taketomi Island. The toilet, shower room, and room are also clean and ok. Roomba is running in the morning. The female owner approached me and took me to the west pier to see the sunset and the stars the next day. Yuntaku starts at 9 o'clock. I made memories that will last a lifetime. I would like to stay again.
