Taketomi-jima Parlor Ganju-ya Shima-yado Ganju-ya

I stayed at Fuya for 2 nights, and it was a great accommodation that makes me want to come back again.This is a renovated private house, so you can experience the architecture of a house unique to Okinawa.The scent of incense wafts in the air the moment you enter the door.And a two-room Japanese-style room. A mini table is placed there.I feel nostalgic as if I had come to my grandparents' house in the countryside.There is a living room and bedroom in the back, and you can watch YouTube and Netflix on the big screen TV.Amenities are provided, and the toilet and bathroom are clean.The shampoo and hand soap are from POLA, and I especially liked the smell of the hand soap.You can also see that both the front and back gardens are well maintained.The washing machine also comes with a dryer, so you can wash your clothes at any time, regardless of the weather.Since we were staying for several nights, the sheets were not changed, but if you put your used towels in a basket and leave them on the veranda, they will change them for you.At night, we could see the Milky Way from our backyard.If you turn off the lights indoors or on the porch, it will be pitch black, so you can see clearly.Breakfast can be served in the parlor next door.The first day includes salad, minestrone, bread, and fruit.On the second day, we mainly had Japanese food, including island tofu, yushi tofu, simmered dishes, and fruits, which were hearty both days.The owner sometimes calls out to me and I feel he cares.All in all, it was a great stay.I would like to stay here again when I come to Taketomi Island.

If you are going as a couple, I definitely recommend this place.First of all, I was impressed by the wonderful customer service from beginning to end, such as taking us to the port and welcoming us attentively.The accommodation was also thoroughly cleaned.There is an open-air bath in the garden.It was the most blissful moment to watch the stars over Taketomi Island while enjoying a drink.It was a wonderful place where there were almost no human voices or noises, only the sounds of nature.I also ordered a BBQ set (4,500 yen) for dinner, and it was more than enough for two people.We only drank two cans of beer each, but if you still want to drink more, we recommend purchasing them in advance on Ishigaki Island.There are no convenience stores on Taketomi Island.There is no need to rent a bicycle as the inn will lend it to you. After riding around on a rental bicycle on Taketomi Island, I stopped by for a break, and I was grateful that the air conditioner was working and they even prepared free Sanpin tea!I couldn't decide what to have for parfait, so I decided on a sundae, and it was really delicious! !Next time I go, I want to try shaved ice!
