Enjoy home-cooked meals at homeIt's amazing to have a hot spring bath with free flowing water for 24 hours! It's about a 5-minute walk from the ski resort, and even when there's snow on the ground, you can still walk.

The room has no bathroom, no refrigerator, and no air conditioner. I will lay out my own futon. It wasn't a fancy dish, but each one was very delicious. Especially the yam dumpling hotpot is the best! And the staff are very warm. I had a good impression that my daughter was working hard. The bath is a hot spring that can be used 24 hours a day and can be reserved for private use, making it convenient to use. If there were two signs each for private baths, men's baths, and women's baths, it might be possible to use the rooms more conveniently.

This is one of those inns that I don't want to tell anyone about. Kiritanpo hot pot and hot springs are the best. I would like to take care of you again.

Lovely hosts, amazing homecooked food with some local Akita ingredients. I do stay in higher end ryokans as well and while the accomodation is more simple here the love and care they put into this made for a very memorable stay. Fantastic and will try to come back in summer.
