Although it is close to Shimizu Station, it may be difficult to find because it is located in an arcade.I was confused because I didn't know how to unlock the door to the room, but the room was clean and I don't think it would be a problem if you are just staying the night. There aren't many restaurants nearby, and although it's close to the station, I didn't feel like I could just casually go out for a drink. There aren't really any convenience stores, and there's a Lawson near Shimizu Station, so if you're staying overnight, it might be better to stay somewhere other than Shimizu Station.

I had a non-smoking single room, but it smelled like it was originally a smoking room. Also, the effectiveness of the air conditioner is not very good and it takes a long time to cool down.I don't recommend it because it's old and not that cheap compared to APA hotels and new route-in business hotels.

Although it was a twin room, it was quite spacious and relaxing.

I had some business to do in Shimizu, so I booked this hotel on Rakuten and stayed there because it was conveniently located in front of the station. The location is right next to the station, with the front facing the shopping street in front of the station and the back facing a wide road, allowing access from two directions. The front desk is on the second floor, and although there is an escalator to the second floor, it was not in operation, so I went up the stairs to the second floor. The escalator was not temporarily stopped, but appeared to be permanently stopped due to lack of maintenance. There was only one person at the front desk, but I had to wait in front of the counter for about 5 minutes because they were answering phone inquiries. The response is not good. It feels like there aren't enough people. The room was a normal single room and cost 9900 yen including breakfast. The room size is normal for a business hotel. It's been a while since it was built, and the water and other areas felt old. The room is of the type where the power is turned on when you insert the room key. That's fine for the lighting, but the air conditioning also shuts off when no one is in the room. Therefore, when I entered the room, it was a scorching hell. (It was a hot day in July)Since the building is old, the air conditioning is a central heating and cooling system, and the only settings are to turn the fan off, 1, 2, and 3.It took quite some time to get the room ready to live.It feels like it's getting too cold after a while, but this air conditioning is difficult to adjust. The TV in the room is small. The bed is normal size and slightly hard.Amenities are minimal and you have to bring your own at the front desk.Additionally, WIFI is difficult to connect to. There are times when the client cannot obtain an address from the DHCP server, rather than a problem with the strength of the radio waves. If the WIFI router is weak and accesses overlap, the number of connections may be limited. I also felt that the equipment was old.Breakfast was included, so when I went to the venue the next morning, I couldn't figure out what was going on as there was no staff at the venue at the designated time, even though I had specified a time.To begin with, the venue is on the 8th floor, but when I went to the 8th floor, there was no information at all and the doors were closed, so I had no idea where the venue was.We opened the door one by one, and when we arrived at the venue, no food was served. There was a tag with the room number on the table, so I waited there.About 10 minutes later, an aunty appeared and brought us food.It seems like they are understaffed. The contents of the meal are at the level of breakfast set meals like Matsuya. For a Japanese set meal, I would like pickled vegetables or pickled plums, but they don't have them. I want to drink hot tea in the morning, but barley tea is the only option available. After all, there are not enough people and it is not provided on time.Even if you don't eat, it might be better to eat outside since the hotel's location is good.Overall the location is good, but everything else is not so good.In fact, this is a level that makes guests want to worry about whether this hotel is okay.I don't think it was like this before. . .The service has deteriorated compared to the past, and it seems like the maintenance of the building has not kept up.
