I stayed for a few days at the loft (open space room at upper level) and it was the best place with a reasonable price I could choose.It is great even if it has "only" a fan - it was more then enough to cool down, even if I switched it on at the lowest level, so don't hesitate to book just because there is no a/c (just in that space, the other rooms have a/c).I almost settled roots on the veranda as I didn't move for 4 days (just to make some coffee in the shared kitchen that has everything you need, or to make the laundry), because it was so relaxing and inspiring that I didn't feel the need to go to the beach or somewhere else...A lovely place with very special vibes in a very quite area, so don't hesitate to book if you are seeking peace of mind, need a quite place with a good wifi connection to do some work or just to read a book 😌Highly recommend 👌

The Mermaids Inn was a great accomodation to stay while I was diving with Piranha Divers Okinawa. The guesthouse is built in a log/woodcabin style. The room was big and you share the kitchen and two bathrooms with other guests. …

The Mermaids inn is clean, has comfortable beds, accessible to local restaurants, convenience stores and close to the Okinawa Airport shuttle and other bus stops. (About 10-15 min walk. Check Google maps for more references).It offers amenities such as towels, shampoo, rinse, body wash and towels. There is a washing machine + laundry room with detergent and softener. It also has a kitchen with a fridge and basic utensils and plates for so it is a great place to stay if you want to cook.Since it is located 45 km away from Naha, make sure to familiarize yourself with the bus timetables so that you can go and buy your own groceries, which may take 2-4 hours to go back and forth to a decent supermarket. If your stay is limited, one idea would be to buy the fresh produce in Naha and bring it with you so that you can enjoy 100 % of your time in Onnason.Another great perk is that is close to Kibogaoka beach (15’ walk).

Stayed here while diving with Piranha divers. Clean and cozy, with good facilities for cooking, washing, and hanging out. A nice place to spend a rainy day (I visited during the wet season!) and great value for money.I will have to come back to see how the papaya plants are growing 🌱

Stayed for 2 weeks during my SDI IDC and loved the easy-going comfort. Felt like I was staying with friends. Big kitchen to gather at and chat while cooking and drinking. Spacious rooms and convenient location, just a few minute’s walk to Piranha Divers. Will definitely be back!

This was a nice place to stay prior to diving with Piranha Divers. Jan was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The host was also very accommodating with helping me get there and from the guest house to the dives.
