We stayed at a lodge at a campsite. The room has two bunk beds,I used it with my son, so it was spacious enough.Since it is only a mattress, other bedding is not included. It is necessary. There is one outlet. You can also have a BBQ right near the lodge. There is also a shared kitchen area, which is comfortable. If you pay the fee, you will get a set of BBQ and ingredients included. There are also services that rent them out! They even let you throw away the trash! There are no toilets in the lodge either, they are shared.I can't say it's very beautifulIt's at a level where something can be done.At night, if you pay the bathing fee, you can go to a nearby hot spring. You can enter! This is pretty good!

I used it on a weekday after Obon. This is a campsite located beyond Nose Onsen. As you walk through the narrow path, you will be greeted by blue demons and red demons. It seemed like a few groups were using it that day, and since it was after the typhoon had passed, it was pretty empty. It gets really lively when there are students around this time of year (I have had experiences where I couldn't sleep until morning due to the noise...)I feel very lucky on this day, and I feel relieved that the rules are followed. The lights are on in the washing area and restroom 🚻 even during the night. I'm glad I have electricity because it's safer, but it attracts insects.I think the toilet is a point of concern, but it was spacious and clean.Large enough for a tent and one car for auto camping! I think it depends on the location, but it was a place where I was able to maintain a proper distance from others, and it was empty, so I was able to relax. The grounds are not large, so I think on busy days it might feel crowded. And best of all, there's a hot spring just a short walk away! It feels great to be able to work up a sweat while camping. When we arrived around 6pm when everyone was having dinner, we were able to enjoy the private time! There is an indoor bath and an outdoor bath, but they are not large, so on days when there are a lot of people, I think it will feel cramped. There is also a roadside station nearby.I went there after noon and most of the vegetables were sold out, but when I stopped by the next morning in the morning, I found a lot of cheap and plentiful vegetables. One thing to note.A stray cat? When there are a few of them and no one is around, they scavenge for garbage, so it's a good idea to clean up the garbage and leftover food when you go to a hot spring.
