It was a very good hotel with top-notch service. The free all-you-can-drink experience in the lounge was really great, and I stayed in the lounge for a long time lol.The outside of the building looks a little old, but the inside is clean. This time, I invited my friends and it was a hotel that I wanted to come to with everyone.

Reading the post on Google Maps, it seems like this hotel is all-inclusive and is meant to be enjoyed while staying at a hotel, but I didn't know that to be the case and stayed overnight without meals as a waypoint on my trip (I searched on Rakuten Travel and found that the room I chose it because it was cheap at 8,000 yen despite its large size). The room was larger than expected (although the passageway was inexplicably wide. It would have been even better if that extra space was used as a living space), the large public bath where you can take a morning bath is spacious, and there is a corner where you can take a tea break after bathing. It's also spacious. I had a relaxing time.On the other hand, since the original style is to complete all activities within the hotel, there are almost no shops around the hotel. A restaurant called Sakamoto right next door was open, so I was able to get dinner there, but if it wasn't open, I would have had to either take a taxi to Karatsu Station or buy a boxed lunch at a nearby convenience store.I knew that I would have to walk 1.5km from Higashikaratsu Station, but when I saw the hotel in the distance from the station, I was disappointed and thought, ``It's really far. I'm going to have to walk that far...'' There was no one in front of the station at 18:30, and there were no taxis. Therefore, it is not suitable for overnight stays.

I have nothing but distrust in the operation of the front desk. The official website is difficult to understand, which is typical of foreign websites. Therefore, I called the hotel to confirm that the reservation had been made, and also confirmed the guest's name in the notes section and the address on the receipt.Even though we made a reservation for the guest and took care of the payment, when the guest tried to check in, the front desk staff complained that the reservation could not be found.Even though we had checked in advance, we were very surprised to see such a response when we were arranging accommodation for a guest, even though it would be fine if it was a business trip for our company. I didn't have any complaints during my time at the Yamato Royal Hotel, but I wonder how things are handled among the staff now.
