A ryokan in the hot spring town of Honami Onsen. It is located near the public bath Motoyu. It looks a little old, and I used it for a day bath. Bathing fee: 500 yen. …

This is a report from a stay a few years ago.I used it for a room without meals booked on the same day. When we arrived, we were given a pass to use the local public bath, and we took our time enjoying the public bath. The water was hot, but once you got used to it, it was refreshing. The sight of the locals saying ``good night'' and leaving was even more pleasant than the hot springs. The family bath at the inn was clean and relaxing. The large public bath also has a semi-open-air bath, so I took my time choosing from hot water of different temperatures. The room was built like an inn from the 1960s, so it may feel old now. However, the cleaning is thorough and there are no complaints.I was also happy to be able to buy ice cream in addition to the drink vending machine. This time I stayed without meals due to time constraints, but next time I would like to eat and relax. Thank you for your warm response. Thank you for letting me come along with the gentle hot water.

When I went to a day trip hot spring for the first time in a while, I noticed that even though it wasn't a private hot spring, the time limit was 60 minutes, so I was worried about the time and felt uncomfortable.I thought that was the case, but when I was in the bath by myself, two elderly guests appeared and started cleaning the floor, making the bathroom uncomfortable and making me wonder what was going on in the hot spring⤵⤵🥶It was very disappointing (。• ́•̀。)💦

I visited him about 15 years ago. It's been a very long time.Compared to the area around Yudanaka Station, the buildings and rooms are retro. You can always take a day trip to the hot springs. If you are staying overnight, please contact us by phone. There is a private hot spring available. There are chairs for the elderly and bath containers for children. For day trips, reservations are required. You may be able to discuss the level of food for your stay. The food in the evening and morning was delicious and filling. I ate all the food in the thermos jar.It became a memory. thank you very much.

I was introduced to the hotel and stayed there during my ski trip to Shiga Kogen. Before arriving at the inn, prepare a private bath, and once you arrive and pack up your belongings, move to the annex. The hot springs are colorless, transparent, tasteless and odorless, but they warmed my body from the core.(There is also a place where you can dry your boots)The baths in the hotel also have male and female baths on a rotating basis, so I was able to use them several times.Dinner was also delicious, carefully seasoned and prepared using seasonal ingredients.Rice eggplant used to be a specialty of this inn. Nowadays, it seems like you can't eat it without contacting me in advance, so I'm looking forward to the next time.Although it is a very old building and facilities, it is kept well-maintained, and despite the rising prices of various things, it is a good inn that warms the body and mind, serving its old regulars without regard for profitability.Day-trip hot springs are reasonably priced at ¥500/person and private baths at ¥800/person, so be sure to check them out if you're in the area.I'm already looking forward to using it next time.
