Our room was along the river. The view was nice. It feels like a hotel for overnight stays that has been partially renovated from the original hotel. The equipment is basically old. There are two bathrooms available for private use, with 30-minute shifts. I was disappointed that ◯◯◯◯ appeared, probably because the window was open for ventilation in the bathroom, but I guess it can't be helped because the equipment is old. There was also insecticide in the room.Check-in is done by yourself and you don't meet anyone.Recommended for those who want to stay cheaply.

Incredibly expensive for what you get. The hotel is run down and badly in need of renovation. There are seemingly no staff. The hotel runs on self-check in and feels soulless with absolutely no welcome or advice on how things run. …

Parking is available for an additional charge of 800 yen, 5 minutes walk, and self-check-in. The sheets are also self-made. It's a staircase so be careful if you have bad knees. For meals, go to a nearby restaurant. The room is clean and has a hot spring rock bath and a cypress bath that requires a 30-minute reservation. Amenities are available at the unmanned front desk. You can go close to public bath 9 through a long underground passage. If you include the outdoor baths, there are 11, so I'm really satisfied.I'd like to wash my body once I get to the hotel, so I'd appreciate it if you could take separate baths for men and women until 7pm.

A rather old onsen area. Everything was dated. The major issue of this hotel is the slugging luggages up and down the narrow stairs. Full self check in/ out services on site. Underground tunnel to own private and to the other side of street was a little eerie but intrresting. Water temp inthe 2 baths were way too hot, you would need to dilute with cold tap water for some time b4 dipping in. The 9(?) bath pass wasn't anything more than individual cubicle style bathing tubs at different locations nearby no cleaning facilities on site so hygeine could be an issue..I'm glad I left without getting in the water.

Kadoya in Shibu Onsen. Although it's mostly a self-service inn, it's located in a location that's easy to move around in for touring the hot springs, and there's also a standing bar on the hot spring town side. There was also a target shooting shop nearby.I stayed overnight without meals, but the bath at the inn is reserved for private use, so I can use it with my family! There was also a baby bath, so there was no need to worry about little ones being there☺️There are a lot of stairs and the hallway leading to the hot spring town is a long walk, so it might be tiring for the elderly. The corridor leading from the main entrance to the hot spring town is a bit interesting as it looks like a secret tunnel. The baths at the inn are rock baths and cypress baths.Black hot water flowers are floating in the cypress bath! It seems that Kadoya-san here is the only one with black yunohana! There were few shops around except for the hot spring town. There are places in the hot spring town where you can buy souvenirs! For dinner, I went to a nearby ramen shop. (A shop called Tokumi. The fried rice was excellent.) There were other seafood restaurants as well.I wanted to go again 😊
