Not bad overall. Hotel food is a bit too spicy for people who like spicy food. The bathroom is good. It's a hotel you come to skiing anyway, so it's better not to expect much, and I think I'll come here next time. For reference, the system for storing skis is a mess.

“A family restaurant in a hotel”⭐️2.5 5/10[Note: Open only in winter]Of all the Prince Hotels, at best it's the most casual, at worst it's the bare minimum.Parking lots do not have enough capacity and are often far away, making it difficult to escape when it snows. However, the snow removal from the walkways is done well, and shovels are provided. There are many guest rooms. The 5th floor we used had 70 rooms on both sides of the hallway, and the hallway was quite long, so if you were unlucky enough to get a room in the back, you would have a hard time. The family room (capacity: 4 people, 21.7 m²) had two beds on each side, so it should be avoided as there is not enough space and it is difficult for two people to use it, making it uncomfortable. The bed size is 50mm narrower than normal, and the storage compartment extends so much that it's practically smaller than normal, making it comparable to a sleeping car. If you're a family of four, there's nothing you can do about it.There is no bathtub in the bathroom, and if you want to warm up, you can go to the large bath, but there is not enough capacity and you have to wait in line for the washing area naked, so you take a shower in your room and soak at different times. It is a good idea to go toThe restaurant is buffet style with a wide variety of ingredients, including many ingredients from Shinshu, and I think the taste has improved from before. Although it is spacious, it gets crowded when it opens, probably because the opening hours are rather short. .Best of all, it has good access to the slopes, but your first ride will not be a gondola lift, but a hoodless quad lift.

I'm not sure which hotel we stayed at, but I stayed there with four friends. |The big factor that makes it highly rated is the proximity to the slopes. ||There are three good points. …

good place・Located on Mt. Yakebibi near the central area of Shiga Kogen・Location where you can slide in and out from the hotel (I've been to many places, but this is not the norm)・There is plenty of parking space (although you may have to park far away) and plenty of space to load and unload your luggage in front of the entrance.- Cleaning is done properly. Although it is not new, there is no sewage smell around the water area.・The floor plan of the family room is small, but it is well thought out (I think this is the result of considering the compromise with the price).-Dinner is crowded during high seasons such as New Year's, but you can go whenever you like and the lingering aroma of the bubble in the large hall is not bad. I think they are working hard on the buffet items as well.・The front desk staff has gotten much better since a few years ago.・Rental quality (expensive but decent)Bad place・I go to a dedicated counter to buy alcoholic beverages for meals, but the prices are sobering that I don't feel sober.・Variations in the quality of staff at rental shopsIf you go there thinking it's a luxury hotel, you may be disappointed. If you are going with family or close friends, I think the family room is fine. The cost performance is very good.

I stayed at Prince Hotel at Shigakogen in March 2024. Most of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. But there was one front desk female staff called A. …

Rooms are small but functional for my family of four. West building has onsen on 1st floor with its own souvenir shop that sells food and snacks too. Hotel staff can speak English. An excellent ski-in/ski-out hotel with a large ski rental shop and a luggage delivery shop next to it too. Choice of a buffet, ramen or Chinese restaurant. Vending machines available on 1st and 3rd floor for drinks and ice-cream. Prince shuttle bus runs from 5pm to 9pm to nearby Ichinose village. We had a good time and would love to visit again.
