I was able to enjoy high-quality hot springs and food that was more than reasonable at a reasonable price even among Shibu Onsen. I want to stay there again!

The hot springs at this inn contain iron and are a little reddish-brown in color, but the hot springs flow directly from the source and are warm. There are various hot springs, and I enjoyed the different colors of the hot water.

2024.07.26I stayed for one night without meals to visit the public baths at Shibu Onsen.Check-in is possible from 14:00.Although it is quite old, we had a comfortable stay. One thing that bothered me was that the geta key chain attached to the room key was too big and got in the way.I only used the bath on the first floor, but there was an indoor bath, an outdoor bath, and a tub bath, and it was generally hot and I only used the outdoor bath, but it was a good bath. The main 9 Shibu Onsen outdoor baths are much hotter than this one, so I think it's still easier to get into. The staff were very responsive, and on my way home I spoke with the mother (wife?) of the inn, and she was a very nice person.

The bathroom wasn't kept well-cleaned, so I went in with a somewhat uneasy feeling.Dinner wasn't good either...Grilled mushrooms in foil were so salty that I had to give up after just a little touch. The location is easy to find, and the service is attentive. It's a shame.

A perfect accommodation for solo travelers. There is also a parking lot, so it is safe for car lovers. The food is simple but delicious. However, the height of the table and chairs do not match, making it very difficult to eat. Also, there are times when there are a lot of stink bugs and it's hard to fight them.
