This inn is definitely recommended for whiskey lovers and other distilled spirits lovers. Umenoya in Nozawa Onsen.In the summer, you can stay for around 5,000 yen per night.There is also an outdoor bath nearby, so if you have any problems, you can just ask the proprietress of the inn.Then, the bar time at night is in full swing.You can enjoy whiskey, gin, and other distilled spirits from the collection of the 3rd generation owner, a former bartender, at prices close to cost.Because it is limited to hotel guests, you can also use it for workdays, etc.Summer stays are also recommended.There are many free outdoor baths,Drinking sake after taking a bath is also great.I received 7-8 cups the other day.It didn't cost 5000 yen.It's too unprecedented

Very friendly landlady and husbandson and wifeChatting at the Schott bar, which starts at 8 o'clock, will be so fun that you'll lose track of time.This is the real pleasure of traveling and interacting with other travelers.

2024.5.1I stayed here while touring with my bike friends. After visiting the public baths, I ate dinner and returned to the hotel. There is a bar on the first floor of the inn, which is a renovated dining room, and has a variety of Western and Japanese sake. Even if you don't know much about alcohol, just tell them how it tastes and what you like and they'll serve it to you in a good way.2023.8.21After spending two nights in a guesthouse or pension in Hakuba, we headed to Takanami Pond Campsite, Otari to Myoko, and Nozawa Onsen. I stayed there for the first time in 11 years. My son and his wife run a bar on the first floor. I would like to go again soon.2012.7.8I was able to do it without any problems.

It was a warm inn. The landlady is very efficient. There was only a shower at the inn, so I went to a nearby hot spring.

It's the best accommodation!This time I used it for one night for the first time for a snowboarding trip at Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort.Originally, I was grateful for being allowed to stay alone, but when I actually stayed there, I was struck by the kindness and warmth of the four members of the Umenoya family. The night I had a drink with my father, brother, and young wife was a really fun and happy time!I hope to return to Nozawa Onsen this time, not for snowboarding purposes, but to meet everyone at Umenoya☺️

It's clean and comfortable, very close to the shuttle bus station and Xintian Gongtang. The host family is very kind and enthusiastic, and the small bar at night is great.Looking forward to coming back next year.In addition, the apples grown by the boss this time were very soft and refreshing, not too sweet, and very delicious. I had to cut them up before leaving when I returned to Tokyo. It was a pity not to buy two more.

I enjoyed my stay here. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. I bought onsen tickets and lift passes from them. Pictures of happy guests are proudly displayed. The room had a warm and quiet heater. The toilets were new and kept very clean. I hope to come back. The only improvement I can think of is a more simple door lock and more pillows.
