We found this lovely accommodation by chance. We love it’s location. The bus from Iiyama Station took us directly opposite it. And the free ski shuttle also stopped across its door. …

Stayed for a week, it is really nice and cozy place. especially with kids and gear, the lodge is just across from the ShinTen station, easy for catching airport shuttle and ski shuttle! Will definitely recommend. In fact we have booked to stay with them again end of the year!

We stayed 5 nights at Suki Nozawa and had a fantastic time. Hosts Leo and Linda tookngood care of us. The attached cafe called Wa serves breakfast for guests, and has a wide selection of drinks including beer and sake, with sumptuous Nabeyaki Udon as a meal when desired. There is a spanking new onsen less than 10m away that provides a relaxing soak at the end of a hard day's skiing or snowboarding on the slopes. The ski resort is a 15min walk up the mountain, or one could also catch the free shuttle.
