It was December. A few days ago (within a week), I suddenly needed to go on a business trip to Izumo, and I made an online reservation at this inn based on the search results for low accommodation costs and high ratings. On the first day, when I was paying for my stay at a cafe-like community space at the same hotel, a person who appeared to be a user who was traveling the previous night said, ``I have to hurry home because something has come up that will prevent me from going back.'' I came to settle the bill. At that time, I simply thought, ``It's difficult when I'm having fun,'' but after staying there, I realized that I too wish I could have an emergency situation. Compared to the guesthouses I have stayed in before, it is clearly different. There are several accommodation facilities next to the cafe and community-style building (accommodation payment settlement office), and they have an old-fashioned exterior that looks like a 〇〇-so, and the entrance door has a push-button unlocking key, so it is safe from a security perspective. I felt uneasy. Additionally, the interior is reminiscent of the Taisho or early Showa era, with a dirt floor passageway, giving it a dark and cold impression. The interior of the accommodation room is a Japanese-style room with an area of about 4 and a half tatami mats, air conditioned, and the windows are double-layered with aluminum sash windows and shoji windows. This may have been due to the cold weather, but even with the heating set to full power at 30 degrees Celsius, it was still a bit cold, and there were holes (remains of old wiring) and cracks in the walls and ceiling here and there, and the storage space was covered with thin curtains. There is a section that is partitioned off by a fence (it is full of dust and cannot be used), so I feel that I cannot sleep well. The bath has a concrete floor and you can only use the shower, no bathing allowed. There was a paid bathing facility (Rampu no Yu) 400m away, and when I learned of its existence, I decided to go there without hesitation. There is electrical equipment available, but there are manpower limitations (breakers will trip) and the simultaneous use of more than three is prohibited. Even in the community space (kitchen space), which is the best part of a guest house, there were extremely few people, so I ended up not being able to talk to anyone. I had also made a reservation for multiple nights and had already paid for the stay, but due to some sudden circumstances, I decided to leave the hotel. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this accommodation.

The exterior of the building looks like a warehouse, but the interior has a nice retro atmosphere, as it is an inn from the 1950s.I stayed in a shared Japanese-style room and had a comfortable stay. I don't think there is anything special to say as long as the customer has good morals.I like it because it's old but well-equipped and has a retro atmosphere, considering you can stay there for 3,000 yen.The only downside is that the front door slams shut if left unattended, and from what I've seen from the reviews, it seems like some people are woken up by it. I did it once too, but if you close it slowly and properly, you should be fine.

Great guests and location 👍Buildings and services still need to be improved...Guesthouses near Izumo City are cheap.A variety of customers come and go every day, including overseas travelers, business travelers, bag packers, and bikers. However, the facilities are poor in proportion to the number of rooms, such as the floor with holes and the only shower in the bathroom! Also, since the manager is not employed, I can't deny the feeling that they are cutting corners. It's a shame because it's in a good location and attracts a lot of people from all over the world.

I stayed here through a friend's introduction.I like spending time relaxing in old Japanese-style rooms, so it was really nice. The atmosphere is good, and although it may be inconvenient for some people, I think it's good for those who can see it as a charm. The staff are kind and make you feel at ease. The price depends on the season. It wasn't expensive when I was there.

I usually stay at various guesthouses, hotels, and inns, but the ratings are pretty low.★Minus points areThe entrance door looked like the entrance door to a warehouse, and other people had a hard time opening it.And it makes a huge banging sound when you close it (^_^;)You can't soak in the bath, only take a shower, but the shower leaks from the connection port...And it’s concrete so it’s really cold ((((;゚Д゚))))If it were this extremely cold season, I would give up on going in.There are slippers, but I don't think they have been sterilized. In the morning, I could hear all the keys rattling and footsteps of customers checking out, so I couldn't understand their movements. And the biggest negative point is that it doesn't cost 10,000 yen per night.I have stayed in many different guesthouses, including old folk houses, modern guesthouses, and stylish guesthouses, but this price was by far the highest even for a guesthouse. It's probably a seasonal thing, but the amount was quite unsatisfactory.A good point would be that I had a lot of fun with the people I was in the same room with! Maybe it would be good if there was something like that?Apparently there are also events such as music, so it might be fun to stay there on those days.*↑I have not experienced the above two points this time, so these are probably factors. For sure, I think the location is good as there are many shops nearby. The best thing I could think of was that I found a cafe next door that served delicious breakfast, which was the only thing that gave me emotional support.
