I visited a large auto campsite in the mountains of Minamishimabara City on the Shimabara Peninsula. This year has been extremely hot than usual, but it felt cool here because we were surrounded by trees. The auto campsite costs 4,000 yen per night (500 yen excluding power usage fee), including garbage disposal fee. Each plot was large enough to comfortably pitch a tent. The toilets and shower rooms were kept clean and sanitary.Additionally, Unzen Onsen can be reached within 10 to 15 minutes by car, so the location was perfect.

In the deep mountains of Unzen, you will be amazed at the cabins and auto campgrounds dotted across the vast grounds. It's extremely hot in September, reaching over 35 degrees Celsius, but here you can stay comfortably below 30 degrees Celsius even during the day, making it the perfect place to escape the summer heat. The auto campsite costs 4,000 yen per night (excluding power usage fees), which includes sanitary and garbage disposal fees. In particular, the toilets and shower rooms were kept clean. On the day I stayed, there were no other campers and I was very lucky to have the vast facility to myself with a beautiful starry sky✌️

I used Kevin several times over the summer. The lawn is well maintained and the staff are courteous. Kevin's sink, bath, and toilet are clean and comfortable to use. Rental prices are also cheaper than elsewhere. The tent site looks comfortable with plenty of shade. The coin laundry, showers, toilets, and washing areas are also convenient and clean.I usually use it with a large number of people, but I would like to reserve a tent site for a duo someday.

Although we camped in the rain and fog, the scenery was still beautiful, and I wondered how much more beautiful it would be if it were sunny. This is the location.Site 7, where I stayed, had beautiful grass growing all over the area, but depending on the site, there are places where the soil surface is wide. The sanitary building and kitchen were thoroughly cleaned.

I stayed at Kevin's.Thank you for your excellent response to inquiries and phone calls, and for making me feel at ease on the day.Since it is not a hotel, we will do the futon laying etc. ourselves.By the time you check out, you will be responsible for returning any items you have taken out or used to their original condition. Most of the things around the kitchen include a refrigerator, plates, pots, frying pans, and a kettle. There are no hair dryers, towels, shampoo, etc. for the bath, so please bring your own.Since it was the off-season, it would be better to bring slippers.
