I visited on a hot day in August. Reisenji Onsen is a small hot spring area with only four inns and one communal bath. The warm water was perfect for the hot summer. I think it's a little-known spot because there aren't many people. After about an hour's bus ride from Ueda Station, the hostess picked us up from the nearest bus stop.[Inside the building/rooms]The inn, run by an elderly landlady, is an old building that makes you feel like you've come to visit your grandmother in the countryside. There are guest rooms on the second floor, and a dining hall, bath, and toilet on the first floor. Be careful as the stairs are narrow and steep. There was a rest area on the mezzanine floor, and drip coffee was available. There is also a water server on the first floor and mezzanine floor. There is also a refrigerator for guests to share in the hallway on the second floor. The room is fully air conditioned. They prepared separate rooms for me and my mother, but the air conditioning in one room was a little weak. Yukata, towels, and toothbrushes provided. I was able to use Wi-Fi so I had a comfortable stay.[Bath]There are two bathrooms, both large and small. This is a style where you hang a sign indicating the women's and men's baths at the entrance. There was only one other male guest in the hotel that day, so we were able to use the bath privately at any time. The smooth, lukewarm water is constantly flowing. It felt so good that I accidentally fell asleep when I took a bath in the morning. lol【meal】I thought I would be eating with the male guests at the dining hall right after entering the entrance, but they prepared the meal for me in the back area where the bathroom was. There is also a TV in each location. The proprietress, who is a good cook, prepared delicious meals both in the morning and in the evening. I was so happy because I had been wanting to try it ever since I started researching it on the internet😋The soup for dinner was especially delicious as it had vegetables like moroheiya in it.The proprietress seems to be thinking of quitting soon due to her age, but the regulars seem to want her to continue. I certainly don't want such a wonderful inn to disappear.I hope that the landlady will continue to take care of her health and stay healthy. Thank you for your help.

I was soothed by the quiet murmuring of the river, the pleasant lukewarm water, and above all by the hospitality of the landlady. Of course, the building is old, but the rooms are comfortable, the futons are clean, and the TV is a big screen. I was able to show good filial piety. Of course, unlike those who seek the services of a high-class ryokan, I thoroughly enjoyed the quiet environment, hearty meals, and a kind of Showa-era hospitality that is not found in the city. This was my mother's first time at an inn like this, and she seemed impressed. When we parted, [I hope you're doing well!] 】To the landlady and the brothers who came here for help, please take care of yourself forever! I would love to hear from you again! !

This hot spring inn is run by the landlady alone and is a must-see if you like nuru hot springs ♨️They only take reservations for a maximum of 4 groups, so I don't think it will be crowded.I stayed on Saturday and there was only one other group, so I was able to soak in the hot springs whenever I wanted. There are two hot spring baths, a large lukewarm bathtub and a small hot bathtub. Each bath can be reserved for private use and has its own hot spring water, which is heated only. Also, the temperature is not heated from 10pm to 6pm, so it will be lukewarm, but if you don't mind, you can still take a bath. The hot water was gentle and had no taste. The food is not luxurious, but it is very delicious.Wi-fi was also usable without any problems. This is an inn where you can relax and feel relaxed.I want the landlady to continue to do her best.I will visit you again soon.By the way, Reisenji Onsen is a small hot spring resort with four inns, one public bath, and no other restaurants or convenience stores. It is a quiet hot spring area right near Rokukyoyu Onsen ♨️

I took a day off on Friday and visited several hot springs in Nagano Prefecture. Perhaps because of the travel support system, many lodgings are booked up early, and this one was vacant even a week in advance, so I felt a little anxious, but it was a very good inn, as per the reputation of the extremely small world of the internet. It was.To get to Reisenji Onsen by public transportation, walk about 20 minutes from the nearest bus stop. When I visited, not a single car passed by, but when I walked down the empty mountain road and arrived at the village, I found Reisenji Onsen and this inn was the closest one to the front. .The building itself is unavoidably showing its age, but I felt that the wife was caring and hospitable in places, as if she was doing everything by herself (the futons were already laid out from the beginning, and the electricity in the room was only connected to the futons). (It can be turned off from inside using the remote control.)As I had seen online beforehand, the meal was not a luxurious meal. But it costs less than 8,000 yen and includes two meals and a private hot spring. It was quite a treat for me.We had a lot of side dishes and rice (we had sekihan for dinner!), all of which were delicious. There are two hot spring baths, one large and one small, with free flowing water, and it's a very generous system that you can rent out as you like if it's empty. The temperature is just right, just above lukewarm water. We spent 50 minutes in the large bath in the morning and evening, and 20 minutes in the smaller bath (which can fit two adults), and on the way back we went to the nearby public bath and enjoyed the hot spring bath. It's great to be able to soak in the hot springs while humming in the big bath.
