There is space for a few tents near the bathhouse, and a few more across the road. I was too unsure about tides to set up on the actual beach. I set up by the benches across the road from the bathhouse, and there was one couple in a van in the parking lot. Other than that it was quiet. I think two cars passed the entire night. I didn't use the showers, but the toilets were clean and water tasted fine. Great free campsite. There is even a wheelchair accessible toilet and shower.

The location is perfect, with a very beautiful beach right in front of you. It is vulnerable to winds from the north to east, so in the event of a storm, it would be best to evacuate to a place with toilets and showers nearby. There is a windbreak and an arbor, so you don't have to worry.I'm really grateful that I can use the restroom for free. The shower costs 100 yen and has cold water. If you want to take a hot shower, you can do so for 200 yen at the Yonezaki campsite.I spent the last 6 days of Golden Week here, and there were no other campers. The campsite near the restroom faces the road, and cars often pass by, so you should be careful.
