Such a wonderful place and overall experience! Highly recommended not only for the service, the cleanliness and the spacious accomodation but also for Cita and her Brother who helped us with everything we asked them for! They are also providing a transfer service which definitely worth it! Hopefully we can visit Ubud again and stay there again!

Such a great stay! The place is perfect, and has all you need. Location is great as it’s serenely in nature, but super close to Ubud and many other attractions (rice fields etc.). The pool and it’s view are stunning. The family is absolutely kind and helpful. One day they took me with them to the temple and provided the proper attire, allowing me a whole different local experience! They also provide tips for waterfalls etc if you need some ;) You can directly rent scooters from them, plan trips, get a driver, and laundry is close by. The food is also superb, and it’s great how you can choose between different breakfast options each day, so you can tap into different authentic Indonesian cuisine. The place was cleaned daily, and well, and bedsheets changed regularly. It’s family friendly, as much as it’s great for solo travelers or a romantic getaway for couples. It’s super silent except for beautiful nature sounds, and great for meditations also. WiFi is perfect! Highly recommend - because, what else would you need?

This is one of our favourite stay experiences, the family are so wonderful and friendly. The place itself is breathtaking, large pool overlooking the rice fields with a river running between. You can hear all the jungle sounds, which makes it so relaxing. The room is perfect, very large and a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. They clean the rooms everyday which was a nice touch. And the breakfast was 7 star quality. Honestly one of the best breakfasts we have had in Bali! It was so great to try different Indonesian foods. Thank you for such a special stay, and would recommend this to anyone!

Just outside Ubud is the paradisiacal Oding House. The accommodation is beautiful, very quiet and with a great view. Everything looks exactly like the pictures!However, the real highlight of the property is the Oding family! They are super helpful, always available and not only offer fantastic breakfasts, but also very good lunches and dinners at fair prices.Additionally, they offer airport pickup and day trips. Both at very fair prices too!We have felt very comfortable here! Thank you very much to the Oding + Jojon family, we would love to come back!P.S.: If you don't want to go to Ubud in the evening, there are a few good restaurants within walking distance and Mama Oding's small kiosk is right next to the house, where you can get the essentials.

In one Word: perfect!We traveled in Indonesia for 3 weeks and this was the best stay we had by far:- very good equipment (fridge, cooking place, water boiler, free water, mosquito net....)- great local breakfast (freshly made by the family every morning)- clean bathroom (you have your private bathroom although Airbnb says "shared")- great view (pool and directly at jungle)- and last but not least: outstanding friendly and helpful host family!We can only recommend for everyone traveling in Ubud area

Clean rooms. The swimming pool (sharing) is also clean. The place is quiet and far from the crowds. All that can be heard are the sounds of nature.The road to this villa is relatively narrow (just barely enough for 2 cars). Then there are descents/ascents and bends here which are quite steep/sharp. When driving, you must be careful and alert. The location is also a bit far from the busy center in Ubud. Not difficult to find with Google Maps.It is recommended not to come here at night. If possible in the afternoon when the sun is still there. The streets are relatively dark and quiet.The position of the villa is not right on the side of the road. So if you bring a vehicle, you can park first, then we have to walk into the alley for approximately 200 meters. In my opinion, lighting at night needs to be improved. Still dim. I'm not comfortable walking in low light conditions. Especially if you bring childrenThe morning atmosphere here is really nice and relaxing. The air is also fresh. It can be really healing. Especially while soaking in the swimming pool and not having to think about work. 😂_The bed here is King Size. So for me, my wife and baby (aged 1.5 years), it is very suitable. Not cramped for the three of us.There is a kitchen, a stove, a refrigerator, gallons of mineral water available, a bathtub and shower, cold water and hot water for bathing. The water pressure is quite strong.Rooms and other areas are clean. There are ants and other insects in the villa area. It's natural because it's close to nature._For me, my wife and child are allergic to dust (sensitive nose), we sneeze until we have a cold (wife). Suggestions for Mr. Oding, mosquito nets and beds need to be vacuumed so that dust can be greatly reduced. For those of us who are allergic, it is very noticeable._Mr. Oding and his family (wife and 2 children) are very friendly and accommodating. They are also smiling and always ready to help whatever our needs are.They provide a variety of breakfast choices. There are packages that you can choose and inform them about. The next morning, breakfast will be available. Cut fruit is also provided!_Overall, if you are the type who likes peace and life away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Oding House is suitable.
